I have loaded a page in my webBrowser control, the page has a table, please see attached for screenshot and partial page source code. I want to load specific column of that table to datagridview, how can I do that?

so i use a webbrowser control to navigate the page as follows [URL]..if i press the button on my form window the textbox value which i give on form is automatically filled into webpage textbox.due to password error the same page be loaded again but now when i press the button again which is in formwindow the textboxvalue which i give on form is not fill into webpage textbox

When I click on a cell in the table I want to be able to edit the attributes of the cell like adding an align or a class attribute. I think this is possible without using mshtml which I'm trying to avoid as I can't find much user friendly documentation on it.
The text in the webbrowsercontrol is loaded with the foll:
WebBrowser1.DocumentText = Form1.RichTextBox1.Text
So I am guessing that I need to be able to detect when a cell is selected (<td></td> tag etc) or clicked on and then from that point I can edit the attributes of that specific cell (<td class="jimmy"></td> tag etc).

View 1 RepliesWhat I'm trying to do is click an html link inside of a html table via code in vb.net using a web-browser control. The link I want to click can be anywhere in the first column of the table so I need to cross reference with another column in the table to make sure I have the re way I'm going about this is to loop through the html elements till I find the table I want (multiple tables on the page) then dump that table to an array. Then loop through the page again get to the table I want and then start comparing the link and another column in the now array. I need to check to make sure that the url of the link contains a work and that another column in the table contains a specific or lower numerical value. Basically where I'm stuck is while dealing with the html element "Table" wanting to identify and interact with another html element inside it.

I wish to read a web page that had various frames and div elements.To start with I would like to create a routine that justs lists all of those elements values and then display each element name and its value so I know what I have and how to reference it later on.I have been using the WebBrowser control and have managed to do a few basic things so far like go to a website and auto login.

The are 2 fields in the table asset_type_id, asset_type_name', im trying to dispaly the values in a combo box for the field 'asset_type_name.

If you click folder it opens new folder contents in WB window but if you click html document it opens in EXTERNAL viewer.
How do you get html document to open in WB while exploring ?
I am writing a few web based apps which will require a webbrowser extension. I have already used the IE webbrowser control that uses the trident web rendering engine. I believe this is MSHTML.DLL? Anyway, some of the users of my programs have complained of a few things. Particularily,
1. It seems to be a slow browser, at least compared to other rendering engines out there (webkit and gecko are 2 known ones).
2. On the developer side, it seems to be low in features. The features are sufficient in most cases, but there are some "special" things that I need.
3. It has VERY low HTML (and especially HTML5) compliance.
My question is, how much work would it take to use a different engine (such as webkit .net, which I HAVE heard of) and be able to distribute it easily. Or, if you guys feel ambitious, we could try writing a brand new engine ourselves. I know how big of a job it is, and frankly, I have no clue where to begin. I would just like your thoughts and opinions on the matter.
i have created an app to load an access database into a datagridview, which contains web urls. When button is clicked it webbrowser1 navigates to each url and each webpages document.inertext is put into textbox. This all work fine but after a while the webbrowser navigation becomes increasingly slower.

I am using a string builder to set up an html table row by row so that it can be emailed. I currently gather my information from the database using a data reader and while dataReader.read, I use stringbuilder.Append to add each cell value to the table.The issue is that after about 200 rows, the html breaks and displays a cell value above the table in the email. I have tried changing the cell padding, but this was not successful.

I'm confused as I cannot see an efficient way to do this. The only thing that I can think of is to create a DataTable with SQL:[code]and then maybe use a For loop to take each PartID, create another DataTable to find the PartName for that and then give this to a variable. There could be up to 10 PartIDs to search through and I don't want to have variables such as PartID1 PartID2 etc. [code]

In the html file, I have filenames mentioned.I am trying to string together the html in such a way as to give a clickable link or button that will parse into html and open the corresponding file in another WebBrowser control in VB.I have tried using VBScript and JavaScript to put a button in the html.As long as the function or sub I call is also in the same html document, it works, but I really need to transfer the control back into visual basic where I can do the heavy lifting I need to.can I just not do this as a regular VB application? Any way to do it without adding the complication of requiring ActiveX?

View 1 RepliesI'm currently creating a HTML editor using a WebBrowser control and using IHTMLDocument2, but I'm currently having a problem that when I insert a table the user is unable to resize the table columns by dragging the border.
I was wondering whether anyone had done anything similar using IHTMLDocument2 and how I would be able to allow for the user to resize the tables like that. Or if anyone knows any good HTML editors that are written in VB.Net and are open source, unfortunately this is a requirement as I have to do some custom stuff for my customer.

This is more html code but I am only trying to access "fn", "tel", "fn org", "street-address","locality", and"region". Here are so facts I know. They list the agents info under a vcard element. Under that element there are name, tel, and organized listed. Then the address information is listed under the element "adr". So I need to loop through the information getting each set of agent information

Again the code clicks the button, but doesn't save the information so I figured it has something to do with the hidden value. I've never seen this problem before so I don't know where to go from here.
I have a webbrowser control, where I show images (bmp files, that the program creates), and I want to add some UserControls to setup the images (as showing layers, or choosing colors to display). Is easy to do appropiate UserControls on VB.NET, and I know almost nothing about HTML, so, I would like to add standard VB.NET UserControls near the images.

I have been doing some listings from database, from the table "Clients", however, when it arrives to the field "Status", like it was expected, it displays to me numbers (1, 2, 3 or 4) these numbers have a relationship with another table, called "Status", which have: Single, Married, Divorced and Widower (according with those numbers).
So, I'm using a DataSet to list all the field, how can I retrieve the text in the table "Status" according with the IDClient instead of retrieving numbers?

I have a table called Table1 which already has a few other columns and 4 rows. I want to add three new columns to it. When the columns are added I want all the cells in the column to equal the variable I supply in the Add method. When I add the column named "BatchID" it works beautifully, but when I add "UserID" it gives an error "Cannot find column [iqz9]". Why? This is how Table1 should look like:
