Select A Specific Table Cell Using Webbrowser Control With Program?

Does anyone know how to select one cell and mulitple cells in a table using the webbrowser control. Eg. If the web page (local) that I'm viewing in the webbrowser control has tables present in it. When i click on a cell in the table I want to be able to edit the attributes of the cell like adding an align or a class attribute. I think this is possible without using mshtml which I'm tryign to avoid as I can't find much user friendly documentation on it.

The text in the webbrowsercontrol is loaded with the foll:
WebBrowser1.DocumentText = Form1.RichTextBox1.Text
So I am guessing that I need to be able to detect when a cell is selected (<td></td> tag etc) or clicked on and then from that point I can edit the attributes of that specific cell (<td class="jimmy"></td> tag etc).

I have to pull out particular fields from cells in an HTML table. Using Firebug I was able to get the exact XPath to the cells I need (unfortunately, the cells don't have an id tag). I thought I could use DocumentNode.SelectSingleNode and pass in that path, but it doesn't seem to be working right. What am I doing wrong? Or is there a better approach to this than how I am doing it? Unfortunately, I have no experience with XPath so this is turning out harder than I expected it to be. I'm just startet to work with datasets, I have configurated an SQL server 2008 to host my databases. the server works fine also over the internet. I am making some SQL test applications, to learn how to use SQL and datagridview.my problem is how can i select a specific cell in my dataset and datagridview. I am making a program which remembers my last selected row in a data table. I have done this by adding a column with a CheckBox, upon CellClick the CheckBox is checked, and upon ellLeave it is unchecked and the new cell is checked, after every action a Update command is run. There will never be more than one row with a checked cell in the DataGridView,however, the data table is in a relationship with other tables, so there may be more checked cells in the data table itself. My problem now is selecting the row with that cell when I open the program and when changing between other data tables and back again.All solutions I found on selecting a specific cell in a DataGridView are referring to index numbers, and in my case I need it to find a data value in a column, I do not know the specific row, only that one row contains the value of True while everything else is False.

As I have no idea on how to retrieve access data at the specific location in the table, so I wrote VBA code t export the entire access database to a datagridview which is located in the form1. There's a column of datagridview contain complete address information of a image. I'm thinking a way to link image source (of form 2 or xaml file) to the the column so that the image will be displayed. is there any code to get cell value at the specific location in the table? In excel VBA, sheets("Sheetname").Cells(rownumber, columnnumber).value is used to get the cell value, but how about code for this case?

im trying to select a specific bit of data from a table in access using sql in vb.net. My select statement so far is sql = "select [UserAccessLevel] from Member where username = '" & tusername & "'"Useraccesslevel and username being columns in the table and tusername being a variable that stores the username im using to look up the useraccesslevel in the table.
Was wondering if any of you knew anything about select statements.

how could I get the text of a specific cell in a DataGridView control ? If it matters , in my case , all the cells contain strings or nothing . For example , in order to get the text from the cell on row 2 and column 3 , what code do I have to use ? I have tried the Value property but seems that's not it . I've found some examples on the web ,but they were all for C# ... I guess , though , it has to be easy .

I created a Windows Form application that used a Webrowser control to automate the process of entering data into a website. One of the tasks included selecting a server name from a dropdown menu (SELECT tag). I was able to get a collection of all of the OPTION tags and use HTMLElement.SetAttribute("selectedIndex","indexVal ue") to select the server I needed.The website recently went through a redesign and now there are no OPTION tags. It appears that the values for the SELECT tags are added by JavaScript dynamically. I have tried using HTMLElement.SetAttribute("selectedIndex","indexVal ue") directly, but I am unable to select what I need.

I wrote a VB.Net application that displays HTML help files according to user's search results.A user types some keywords and receives a list of HTML help files containing these keywords.When a list item is selected the HTML file is displayed in WebBrowser control.The problem is that I cannot mark the keywords in the displayed HTML file. I need to highlight them like in a standard Help. I tried many options and nothing works.If I change HTML element style manually (background color for a specific string) all pictures attached to this page are not displayed. After "Refresh" operation the pictures are displayed but the text selection is not enabled.I hope there is a standard function for this operation but I cannot find it.

I have a website where I am filling form data through VB.Net 2010 through WebBrowser control.
I am able to set value for input:text, input:password, checkbox, select and able to submit form.
But I am not able to select input:file programmatically. I am also able to open "Choose a File" Dialog.
How can I send file name to select and press OK button from VB.Net Code?

I'm using something call ultragrid in my program.The program works as a mini-record keeping area (Like any datagrid, really). Well, I am adding a history to it and it allows the user to see the last 50 records searched. They get a grid showing the records. This, thus far, works perfectly What I want to do is this: I want to select a record (A cell) in the column 'Dog and have the text of that cell appear in a textbox. This is what I've tried with no success.

What I'm trying to do is click an html link inside of a html table via code in vb.net using a web-browser control. The link I want to click can be anywhere in the first column of the table so I need to cross reference with another column in the table to make sure I have the re way I'm going about this is to loop through the html elements till I find the table I want (multiple tables on the page) then dump that table to an array. Then loop through the page again get to the table I want and then start comparing the link and another column in the now array. I need to check to make sure that the url of the link contains a work and that another column in the table contains a specific or lower numerical value. Basically where I'm stuck is while dealing with the html element "Table" wanting to identify and interact with another html element inside it.

I'm attempting to copy cells, one at a time, from an Excel 2003 (or 2007) spreadsheet to a Word 2003 (or 2007) table. I'd like the code to be version-agnostic, and so am using late binding. The formatting of the contents of the Excel cell, such as color, underline, strike-through, needs to be preserved. My approach is to use a Word doc as a template. It has a table at the top which I can copy to the end of the doc, add rows as needed, and fill in the word table cells with the data from the excel spreadsheet. Unfortunately, all the formatting disappears. All I get is the text itself.

I have used VB6 years ago. Few days ago I just got started again with VB 2010. So I'm newbie again, Almost forgot everything. I want to create a program for parental control that block specific websites.
What I exactly want to do is The code should check the titles of the open windows and see if it is blocked one. If it is, it will close the browser with a message showing it's blocked. For example If I put "yahoo" to check and someone opens yahoo.com it should be terminated.What I have done so far is, I made DOS batch file that will terminate all the browsers that are open and set that ready to run when the title matches blocked site name/address.But I am stuck at how I can check the titles of the window that are open.

I am having trouble submitting a form with my program which is using the WebBrowser control.
WebBrowser.Document.All("follow").InvokeMember("click")
I tried this but it did not work. The result is that the WebBrowser displays "This program cannot display the webpage" error page. The problem I think, is that the page is using javascript when it comes to submitting the form.This is the code for the submit button:

I am having problem setting focus on specific cell in my Datagridview1 . On Form1 when clicking on cell 3 in any row, I am callig a Dialog1. However, when done working with it, and closing the Dialog1, the focus returns to cell 3 in my Datagridview1 . I like to set the focus on the next cell(4) making it the current cell.
I have tryed :
DataGridView1.SelectionMode = DataGridViewSelectionMode.CellSelect
DataGridView1.CurrentCell = DataGridView1.Item(4, e.RowIndex)
DataGridView1.CurrentCell = DataGridView1.CurrentRow.Cells(4)
And few other things, I am always getting this exception: Operation is not valid because it results in a reentrant call to the SetCurrentCellAddressCore function.
