Grabbing Information From Array In Another Form?

So I have a list of book branches in an array called _branches. I need to write a procedure that adds branch names to branchNameListBox. Then I have to write a procedure that displays the information on the branch currently selected in the list box. The information should be displayed in sealPictureBox (branch image), cityLabel,nEmpLabel, and totalSalesLabel.This is what I have but the _branches are underlined in blue and it says the it cannot be indexed because there is no default property. what does that mean and how do I fix that?

I'm trying to grab information entered in textboxes. I'm trying to grab a name, an age, and a movie title from three separate textboxes, and put them into a single label like this:
"Name" is "age," her favourite film is "movie title."
after clicking the "Show" button.
I know it's a click event for the show button, but I can't quite figure out how to make the concatenated message.

Is there a way to grab information from a textbox outside of my form? I am able to track the cursor's position, x and y, and i want to detect whether there is a textbox at a given position, if so..grab the text.

I want to pull information from an array and place it into a chart of text boxes on the form. I have used a control array before but this time I want to create a dwo dimension control array. My guessing is not working... The display will be 10 x 10?

I use the 'TransparencyKey' feature on my form to make a 'Panel' control transparent so i can see a program thats running underneath my form. If i try and do a screen grab (Capture a picture) of my form it only grabs a image of the background of my desktop and the program below and not my form.
If i use the normal Windows 'PrtScrn' key to grab a still image it manages to capture my form and underlying programs fine. This appears to be a limitation of transparencykey because as soon as you disable/remove it the screen grab works fine on the form. how to resolve this problem as removing the 'TransparencyKey' feature is not a option as i require this for my program

I have been trying to discover how to make the contents of a form expand or retract in response to moving its borders by grabbing them with the mouse, or by use of the 'Maximise' or 'Restore Down' controls.The explanation in �Help� concerning TableLayoutPanel, Panel, Anchor and Auto size doesn�t help much, especially as it I can�t get it to work.

I started programming in VB many moons ago, but I put it down about a year ago. I picked back up a project I was working on a few years ago and Visual Studio 2008 Pro had to convert it. It seemed to work just fine but I wanted to make it "look .NETish", so I simply copied all the controls and code into a new project.The new project won't display information stored in static arrays on a Rich Text Box. The arrays are declared public in a code.vb file and the array is populated in the load event for the main form.I've tried inserting a "test" button to see if I could somehow get it to display trying a few different things. Essentially:

I need to use an array at any part of the project. It has been suggested to me to build an array and show its result in a combobox. Instead of having an input textbox, i will have a combobox which will display 10 common names which are kept in the array.

I'm a beginner at programming so I'm going through the Clearly Visual Basic 2008 book. There is a problem that I'm doing called JM Sales Solution and I need to create a one dimensional array with the information given.
JM Sales employs 8 salespeople. The sales manager wants an application that allows him to enter a bonus rate. The application should use the rate, along with the 8 salespeople, in an array, to calculate each salesperson's bonus amount. The application should display each salesperson's number (1 through 8) and bonus amount. as well as the total bonus paid, in the interface.
I did the interface that's not a problem. My problem is the Create Report code. I had the program running and displaying but it didn't display all eight bonuses or the Bonus and Total Bonus paid at the end. I did some tweaking and now I can't even get it to run again. I have a list of names in a database and what i want is to get all of these names and display them in a label or a text box to the user on the website. I have tried to do this using a for loop but it is always overwriting the label each time. I have a list of 10 different names in the database and what it is doing is putting the first name in the label and then overwriting this with the second name and so on until it reaches the last name. I think i need to store each of the names from the database into an array or an arrayList and then make the label display all of the contents from the array or arrayList. The for loop i have used for this is:

I am working on a project that has the user building scrapbook pages through several different forms. When the user selects something a presses a button I have the information about the selection load to a list box which is on a CheckoutForm. One of the options I have is for the user to save what they have made (this includes the information in the list boxes) and return to a previous form to build another page. I have been trying to use the Me.Close() but it does not save the information and using Me.Hide() displays the wrong elements on the forms.

So my question is that I have 2 list boxes in two forms aside from the main one. and I am trying to transfer what I choose in the side form to transfer to the list box.
several questions: Why does the blank list form I have in the main form create a problem when I enter a name for the list box and why does it appear in the box when I put it there? As you can see in my errors. It doesn't seem to recognize the listbox that I wanted to leave empty in the main form.
Second question is how do I get names to add in the main form list box. I believe I have the right code but I seem to be missing something else as well. I want the names to display in the main list box and the integers to add up together so I can separately figure the tax and shipping myself.

i have a form that I need to do two separate functions, however about 95% of the code is the same it's just that last 5% so I don't want to create two forms. What I would like to do is when I click on a button to open the form pass it a variable or something so I can determine which of the two buttons were used to open the form.
Basically if Button1 is clicked do this if button2 was clicked do that...

Therefore that code above works perfectly as both of them saves information to the Customers table and waitingforApproval.The problem is here:When I open form2 which recieves information from WaitinforApproval database table(and I see it getting it from there as tableadapter works), I want to save the received information to the customers.So I have two data sets in here. Just like above So here I have created a button called confirm/save the data to customers. Hence I put this code in confirm button:

im writing a program for my vegetarian girlfriend that does two things from the main menu. 1: add foods with attributes like name, iron content, protein, sodium etc. 2: use the foods that have already been stored and use them to make a balanced meal. What im having trouble with is, how do i save the attributes when storing the foods ? i have knowledge with c++ so i understand how classes work and was wondering if there is something similar in Visual Basic.
