I am trying to write a program in VB 2008 that will load a form and display that form for x amount of seconds unless the button is clicked before x seconds has elapsed. Then, after x seconds, automatically depress a particular button so the next portion of the application would run.In this case, I want Form1 to be displayed for 15 seconds, then auto click the "Launch Notepad++" button. The id changes everytime its clicked so we cannot use the id :/ so

Though I am using a webbrowser control at present but I want to remotely login without opening any browser nor a webbrowser control.Now I could hide the webbrowser control but then I wont know whether the site loading operation was successful or not (in case the site was down or so) Is there a function or a value that is returned after successfully loading a website via which I could check (without opening anything) whether my operation was successful or not

I was just wondering if it's possible to autoclick a button without having to use the mouse hover or mouse click. I want my program to autoclick the button infinite times or as commanded by the start and stop button.

acts in same way of msgbox, but after 9 seconds (in the example) then auto click the Retry button (the default button, the one with * prefix). maybe I could convert this old ocx to net, but wondering if there is not an better alternative using messagebox.

View 2 RepliesI have a vb.net application that uses Flash movies (AxShockwaveFlashObjects.AxShockwaveFlash). I have buttons in the flash movie. When they first start using the application, they can single click on the buttons in the flash movie and button responds accordingly. But after a while (and I haven't been able to pin-point an exact thing that changes it or my issue would be solved), the user has to double-click on the button in the flash movie for them to work.
