I need to create an on-screen shape (circle) that has a fill color, which will blink every X seconds (go from fill color, to white, back to fill color). This is trivial to do...BUT... i want to do it in my own class, so that I can instantiate it numerous times passing it unique coordinates for each instantiation.
How do I do it? Can a class have its own "timer control" in it independent from the form? How would I draw a shape from a class?

Alright inside of a combo box I have a list of colors and I want to change the background color of the combo box to the selected color...basically this... but im not sure what the problem is here anyone have some advice or is this not possible?
CBLinerColor.BackColor() = CBLinerColor.Items.Item(0)
Basically i want dynamic code that will change the color depending on the items in the box.

-User is able to pick coordinates off his/her own screen with a right-click
-User can then add those coordinates to a list in any order they wish
-Up to 3 different lists are available
What I want it to do:
-User is able to pick coordinates off his/her own screen with a right-click
-User can then add those coordinates to a list in any order they wish
-Up to 3 different lists are available
-Mouse will go to coordinates specified in list boxes and click each coordinate
-The time in between each mouse movement/click can be adjusted by the "time between

I have a array of pixels. And I would like to Quantize them.
For Example
FF00FF,00FFFF stuff like that, but most are custom colors and are not a standard 256 color palette. So I need code to convert a color to a 256 color. I dont have any idea on how to do this, but thats why I came here. I do not want to use System.Graphics.Image.Palette or anything like that as this project uses arrays for images. I would like to if at all possible be able to convert a R, G, B color to 8bit, 16bit, 256bit and possibly use the HSL or NeuQuant method or something close to that, or maybe even some other methods of doing it. I do need to be able to do this for a single pixel, but I will also need a method for a array of them.

sometime in 2007, I created a program for a few people that play a game using AOL. I had 75 buttons set up, and when you click on it a certain amount of times, the colors change... click once changes red, click 2 times changes blue, etc. Well, a few of them had lost the program and I had lost my project files when my old HD crashed. and I cant remember what the coding was for changing the buttons colors... One of them had the First one I made, which I had made updates to that (it was a beta), but I dont have the correct files to open anything to see what the coding was that I used..
I have the setup.exe, filename.application, filename.version#.application, and a few other files, but none of them that I open shows any kind of coding at all. Is there any way I can open something to view that coding again? or could someone explain how you can change a buttons color when clicking on it?
What I need is:
click 1 - Red
click 2 - Blue
click 3 - gold/yellow

A way to scan to whole screen, and find a specific color on it - and after that move the mouse over the color.
This is what i would like the process like, so you guys can have a better idea:
1. A timer that scans the whole screen after a specific color every 5 seconds.
2. When the color appear on the screen, it'll move the mouse to the x, y.
3. After that I'll run some code (i'll hopefully find out of that myself)
I actually don't care how the color should be found. If it's a RGB it will be 255, 209, 102 it should look after. Or maybe it could scan the screen after a matching bitmap. And it's not just 1 pixel I want to find the color of, it's the whole screen I'll like to have scanned for the color, and if the color is found - the program should react.

I'm new to visual basic & have learned many new things in such a short period of time from being on the MSDN forums. I have learned particularly in the subject of automating web browsing control using the getattributes etc., but I have tried everything that I have seen in the forums to auto click the "Settings" link in a created gmail account and then have the browser automate the "Forwarding" to another gmail address. I haven't found a solution anywhere to accomplish this.
So here is an account to try out in which this should only take a few mins to a veteran coder:

I'm trying to develop a windows form app which will take a screen shot every 30 seconds for about 45 minutes. After 45 minutes, the user will click Finish, and these screenshots will be uploaded to a database. I don't want anything that simulates a PrintScreen key press, because I don't want to alter the users clipboard. The second issue is, for users with multiple screens, I'd like to capture the entire screen image, not just from the primary screen. I'm using Visual Basic .NET 2005.

ive tried many things like..
SetMousePosition(System.Drawing.Colors.Blue.X, System.Drawing.Colors.Y) but no luck..

Threading.Thread.Sleep(5000)
but it just makes the splash screen APPEAR after 5 seconds of nothing.

When I say a "Troll hunt may be in order" I am saying that the troll-like behavior, which has been present in the forum in small doses for a long time, has reached a head and can no longer go without consequence; at least in my estimation... Now, let us be clear; here is the definition of Troll being used in this context: [URL] Most people have no reason to click the link... anyone who spends time in modern forums should have a general idea of what a Troll is. But just in case there is any question, there is an official definition for use in this thread.
