I'm trying to get coordinates on my screen by holding down my mouse and placing it over different parts of the screen. I'm using the mouse_up and down events in a button to kinda simulate the mouse being held down. The problem I'm running into is that anytime I go past the button's bounds, the coordinates I want stop. This is what I have so far:

I need to create a program which can press anywhere on the computer screen. I need to click once with the mouse, and then save those coordinates, and afterwards the program self press the mouse at the point. It needs to be an application - not an applet. I have read something about MouseEvent, but I cannot quite figure it out, how to get those coordinates. Currently I can create a program with presses at some coordinates I self gives values as points in the source, I did that with the Robot class.

I have found on the Internet a few pieces of code whitch should do automatic mouse click on coordinates I provide by code, I use mouse_event, what I want to do is to send many mouse clicks to another application, with mouse_event it works but it moves the mouse (and I don't want that cause I need the mouse at my disposal)
I've tried sendmessage, postmessage and sendinput but this two functions do the clicks only on objects and the application doesn't have any object at that location, for example if the application receives a mouse click at 100,100 at displays a number. I am using vb 2010 trial

I want to create a simple form with 2 buttons, one to end the program and one to log the user off, I have done this successfully and have everything looking and working as it should. However, I want to force the user to pick one of these buttons before using the machine, my idea was to trap the mouse in the form so the only thing the user can do is select a button. My question is how can I do this?

I have a button which loads a table from an MSACCESS file into a listview.

When the button is clicked, it runs this function, populating the table into the listview. Now, I would like to add the function where a user can delete rows by right-clicking a row in the listview and selecting delete. I have added a context-menu, and I can delete listview items, however I don't know how to delete the row in the MSACCESS database. Any ideas?

I believe there wont be any diff if user clicks the button on the form and the click event is fired OR if we call the button click event / function in the code. Because in one my project, this does make diff. If I click the button on the form, the App works great but same button if I click it thru the form code, the whole process crashes. This happens in Vista / VB.net.

The exact scenario is, I have a picture box of size 1024*1024 and and an another picture box of size 256*256 over the bigger picture box (of size 1024*1024). it is designed to be able to interact with foreground windows and display certain bits of information as each foreground window is displayed. The foreground window will most of the time NOT be a windows form so this makes things that bit more trickier for me. The program below doesn't produce any errors but the problem arises when I try and get the X, Y coordinates of the cursor, at the moment when ever the cursor is moved around I get a very long number as the X and nothing returned for my Y. I find I can set the X,Y coordinates to anywhere on the screen, can also get the foreground forms title,it's RECT coordinates but need to get the cursor info correctly.

I have two custom action listers. One that handles Mouse.Click and one that handles Mouse.MouseDown. My question to you is, can I delay the mouse down event so that it does not intefere with the code of the Mouse.Click event? I have tried adding a timer and waiting x amount then setting a bool value to true, but the code executes to fast and it skips the other code.
