Dec 7, 2009I have a button which reads a comma separated value file and loads it into a richtextbox. Each line contains comma separated chars.
Once the file is loaded in the richtextbox, i want to be able to select specific values from each line and store them into an array.
For example:
Line1: a,b,c,d,e
I want to be able to place only the values "b" and "c" into an array.
I was thinking something like creating a menu for the richtextbox which will be triggered on right click, then highlight the values I want, press right click and select 'place these values in an array'.
it doesn't have to be the way i proposed it, but it definitely must use a richtextbox.

Oct 1, 2008[code] I want line 1 to be program version line 2,3,4 etc. be read into seperate variables. I know you can loop the first line above to keep reading lines, but that is not viable as it'll just assign the next line to programVer and override the previous value.

When a line is biger than the size of the richtextbox, it wraps it. This create a big problem as I can not select the last line of the richtextbox (when a line is wrapped it becomes two lines). When I set wordwrap to off it works just fine

i have write all this value in another text file by adding the title.in my original file's line i must check whether the line contain any MIL value if not, I must write first T1 the below T1 i must write all the line which not contain MIL value until i reach a line which Contain MIL value. If the line contain 39MIL the i must write first T5 then followed by all the line which contain 39MIL until it reach the line which contain another MIL value. Let say 50MIL. the i must write T7 then followed by all the line which contain 50MIL. I sort my original file alredy. so the original file will start from the line which dont have MIL to 39MIL,50MIL,75MIL and 100MIL. Mu output file will look like this

Mar 10, 2010i have 2 richtextbox,which will be compared with each other;array by array. if those array are same with each other;array1(3)=array2(3); then i will just display "*********" in another RTB3.but then if there are any differents between array1 and array 2, i will display error and state at which line does the errors occur.Next,i will highlight the error line in RTB1.and here is my problem.
i knew that i should use command below to complete the pogramme,but the part selection start,i dont know how to full fill it:

Jul 24, 2011I wonder if it is possible to find a specific row and specific columns in data base file (Access) . You see , I am using a DataGridView control to show only SOME of the columns (fields) of a table from an Access file . For example , lets say that in the DataGridView control I only show the following fields :Field1 , Field2 and Field3 .Now , when the user selects an entry in the DataGridView control , I want to insert the text from Field4 into a text box on the form .
The problem , however , is that I don't know how to get the specific row in the data base file and also I don't know how to get the text in column (field) Field4 of that row .One thing that might be important is that the index of the row in the data base file is not necessarily the same with the index of the current row in the DataGridView control . This is because in the DataGridView control the rows are order by the contents in the ID Field .ol .
