Checkbox Tick Generates An Error?
Jul 1, 2010I have three checkboxes on my datagridview namely, Yes, No, Inv. If the value is set to True in the table which populates the datagridview the respective checkbox is checked and if false unchecked.Now, when on runtime I try to check a checkbox on the Yes Column I receive the followinf error;

The No and Inv allow me to check and uncheck the checkboxes as many as I want without generating the error.
How To Make Text Fields Grayed Out Until User Tick CheckBox
Apr 13, 2010I am building an application in Visual Studio containing various tables and input boxes. Its part of my coursework. I have a table that has two input text fields and above the boxes is a check box. I have created a calculation in VB that only includes the data in the text fields when the check box is ticked. What I want to do now is have the two text fields as un-editable until you tick the check box? or greyed out?

May 10, 2009For my job I have to manually tick up to 50 boxes on a website and then click expire to remove the records from the site. Is it possible to automate this by having a small application which on the right hand side has a browser control and on the left a button which says expire all records. When this is clicked the tool knows to tick all the records and then click on the expire button? If so what sort of control should i look at using or VB code?
I want to progress this at a later date aswell so that the tool would then be able to click on each record individually to enter the record and then click re-publish? How do I get my program to loop round and then stop when it has finished expiring all the records? Also sometimes there are more than 1 page of results, so it would need to be able to tick all results, then click on the expire button, but then be able to click on the next page button and then repeat the process so it expires the records on this page?

Dec 16, 2010I have an update panel that has a timer set as the AsyncPostBackTrigger.In this Update Panel I have a repeater and in the repeater I have a few buttons which have on click events.
The on click of these buttons does not appear to fire until the timer has ticked.I have tried debugging and this is what seems to be happening, either way it takes ages for the button click to actually fire.
Does anyone know why this would be and what I can do about it?

Bug Deleting File From Special Folder On Checkbox Click?
Jun 10, 2010I've been going round and round with this and thought maybe someone would know.I've created a program which with process.showdialog calls up a form into which the user enters username and password then is given access to the program itself. If the username and password is incorrect, the program closes.
There is a frmMain and in the form load I've added the process to open this sort of splash login screen. It's not a splash really, it isn't timed to close down.
I fill out the login information, click the save settings checkbox which creates a settings file in MyDocuments. My problem is that in debugging, removing the click closes the login page without the click actually becoming unclicked. The Main program opens before there's been a chance to register the "unclick." Hope this makes sense.

Mar 31, 2009I'm facing a strange problem in my dgv, I have the dgv bounded to a datatable, now I had to add a new column to let the user checks the rows that he/she want to export to a text file. I had the checkbox column, but when I run the application I can't check any row, I try to add in the click event of the dgv to manually check the column but it still not works...

Nov 28, 2010I have programmed a web browser with Visual Basic 2010 Express and came across a major bug. Whenever I try to click a checkbox on a certain website, this error message appears:

After clicking yes or no it just pops up again and I have to open the Task Manager just to close the browser.

Jan 12, 2010so i have a user form, and i want to uncheck certain checkboxes if some conditions are met, etc. the problem is, i also have instructions that are supposed to take place when the box is clicked, BUT these are done when the actual value is changed, even if no click takes place. how can i get around this? i tried to have some boolean barriers but because of the complexity of my code, theres no logical way of doing it. is there some property i can use to just change the value and not register a click?
