I am creating a program that requires the user to click a checkbox and then select a date in a Date Time Picker Control. There will be up to 20 entries. I need to know how to take all of the dates entered and display on a different form the latest date selected by the user from all the entries on a form. All the options will be training selected and when the last training item is selected and a date entered I need to be able to output the training completion date which will be the latest date entered in the form.
IT STILL GIVES A MSGBOX IF I SELECT THE CHECKBOX BOX OR NOT ....My code below will redirect to Google in both conditions: If the user selects the checkbox, then it will redirect to www.google.com, but if a user forgets to check the checkbox then it shows the msg box with an ok button. When I click on ok it should redirect to www.google.com
I want When a user forgets to check any of the checkboxes to show a msgbox with an ok button and stay on the same page. Otherwise if user selects any of the checkboxes then redirect to google

I am new to vb.net and I have looked at other topics. I cannot find the answer I need. OK I have a combobox named cboRaceDesc and five checkboxes (CkRaceAfricanAmerican, ChkRaceAmerican Indian, ckRaceAsian, ckRacePacificIslander, and ckRaceWhite). I was going to post an image, but I cannot.cboRaceDesc has two options...Hispanic and Other. If the user selects Other then they have to choose one of the five checkboxes or it will raise an exception when the record is being saved. I am assuming I would generate the code under the "save" button. I know I need to gather the following information in my code:

A smaller thumbnail which allow user to choose the different path is also included in my application.When the window load, a default path will appear. [code] When the user select Item1 and click on a thumbnail, the path will appear. The problem that I'm having is that when I try to select a different date, the text doesn't go away. That may make no sence, but let me tell y'all what I've done.
1: Created a GroupBox 2: Put a DateTimePicker in the GroupBox 3: Put TextBoxs in the GroupBox 4: Changed the DateTimePicker to look like this: A)Checked - False B)Allow Drop - True
I thought that if I changed that, then the text in the text box would go to that specific date. It didn't do that, it just stays the same. What I'm trying to do is enter text in say 3/7/11 and when I choose date 6/12/12 it will display blank text boxes for me to enter something different.

I have 4 things I am trying to overcome when loading the DGV and when clicking on a row.
1. When the DGV loads, the first row is Selected by default. I would prefer that it not be since that row may not be needed to be selected and mistakenly left selected.
2. Column(0) contains an UnBound CheckBox, when I click it, I want the row to be Selected
3. When I click on the DGV Row, I want the CheckBox to be marked either True or False depending on the state before the row click and the row selected or unselected.
4. Bypassing the need for Ctrl or Shift to select multiple rows.
I have a datagrid, with an unbound checkbox column. Actually today I opened my yahoo mail and I saw 2030 messages, too much spam right. What I did I had to delete them all and it took me time. So right now I decided to make a program by using web browser in vb.net. I want to select all the messages and then delete them automatically "Its time consuming." im trying to get the user of my program to enter their date of birth ad for the program to return how old they are in years, months and days (you are 10 years, 3 months and 23 days old) type thing and if its their birthday, to return an appropriate message.atm ive got a textbox for the days, a combo box for the month and another textbox for the year. i guess the real question is how do i use these to do the above.
I have a form that collects user parameters to print a report. There are two DateTimePickers to let the user select a date range for the report. The selection of a date range is optional so I set the From picker to a date before any data could be present. If the user wants to select a date range, the from field is set to a very old date so it takes a long time to get to any current dates. Whe I'd like to do is when the user drops down the picker, reset the date to today and let the user scroll from there.I tried the dropdown even in the picker, but the new date doesn't get set until the user has already selected a date. Any suggestions on how to get this type of UI behavior? Also any better suggestions to streamline the process?The main objective it to collect from and to dates from the user is they want to select them and collect wide ranging dates if the user doesn't enter any.

I have a Infragistics ultragrid with a checkbox column (no binding on the checkbox column) need the user to only have one check box selected at a time. I have a vb.net application that uses Flash movies (AxShockwaveFlashObjects.AxShockwaveFlash). I have buttons in the flash movie. When they first start using the application, they can single click on the buttons in the flash movie and button responds accordingly. But after a while (and I haven't been able to pin-point an exact thing that changes it or my issue would be solved), the user has to double-click on the button in the flash movie for them to work.
