IDE :: Bookmarkes Are Displaced After Line Insert / Delete?

I use Visual Basic 2010 Express on Windows 7, and VS 2010 Prof (vb) on Win'xp with NO IDE extensions at all.
It seems to me, that the bookmarks placed by their editors don't resist against some type of very basical source code modifications. I did searches about the problem, and I've found some signs that other people alse had problems with it, but not so many?
If I insert / delete a line anywhere before a bookmark, after saving the project and reopening it the bookmarks shift up / down by the number of the inserted / deleted lines. in the simplest new windows form application by inserting two lines of code (dim a as integer=0, ...), adding a bookmark at the last one, closing the newly created project, leaving vs, reopening the vs + project, checking the correct place of the bookmark, inserting a new line of code between the existing ones, saving the file, leaving vs, eopening the project, checking the placement of the bookmark having been placed at the last line?

Is it possible that when a new line (anywhere in a richtextbox) is added/deleted, then a line is also added/deleted in another richtextbox?

I am using this code to draw a line on a form using textboxes as the x and y coordinates. I then click the button with the code below that will draw the line.
Before the new line is drawn, I would like to have previous lines deleted first.
How can I delete these lines?

i have write all this value in another text file by adding the title.in my original file's line i must check whether the line contain any MIL value if not, I must write first T1 the below T1 i must write all the line which not contain MIL value until i reach a line which Contain MIL value. If the line contain 39MIL the i must write first T5 then followed by all the line which contain 39MIL until it reach the line which contain another MIL value. Let say 50MIL. the i must write T7 then followed by all the line which contain 50MIL. I sort my original file alredy. so the original file will start from the line which dont have MIL to 39MIL,50MIL,75MIL and 100MIL. Mu output file will look like this

I am not sure if I can do update, delete and insert in one form. The problem is that in this one form I have 3 textbox and 1 combobox which the user have to enter each column and click on the submit button which is for insert. So how can I do this with delete and update.

How to insert, search and delete a picture in vb.net and Microsoft access 2007? A picture that will be store in access is inserted in a form or a picture box. But it seems I have the wrong codes.. and when I click the insert button, it doesn't store in the access, and when I click the search button, nothing appear in the picture box.

Updates were easy but we don't know how to do the inserts and deletes even though we already have the DataAdapter .InsertCommand and .DeleteCommand defined and initialised.Currently the app allows the user to navigate through the Textboxes that are bound to the DataSource and the user can just change whatever is in the Textboxes before calling .Update

i'm querying 2 tables from an access 2007 database + i've worked out the SELECT statement which works ok:

I'm making a function that is supposed to delete a line from a textfile "test.txt". I'm having no problems with finding what line i want to delete. The basic idea is this: read the whole file with streamreaderdelete the linerewrite the file with streamwriter. My problem is the last, how can i completely remove the file content, and write another string in it, writer.writeline just appends a line.

I have a datatable populated from an SQL Server 2008 database table. I created a DataAdapter with a commandbuilder to manage the updating, inserting, and deleting of records. The Updating and Inserting work as expected. However, Delete does not. The code runs through just fine without any errors. The number of records in the datatable after the row is deleted even reflects the deletion. The DataAdapter.Update works fine without any exceptions. But when checking the actual table in the SQL DB the deleted record is still there.Here are the parts of my code that deal with this table.

I'm developing an application for my ping SQL Server 2005 as database and VB.Net 2008. Ive created the form and successfully connected all text boxes etc. Using the code, I have managed to open the database and fill the dataset. However when I BIND the Datagrid datasource to the Dataset, I can only see the COLUMN NAMES in the datagrid and not the rows or the data. How to Insert, Update and Delete data. I am trying to Insert/Delete records in a MSSQL database based on if a checkbox is checked or unchecked. The checkbox is an item template in a datagrid, I can check/uncheck the checkbox but it doesn't do an insert or delete. Here is my code:

I have a program that reads a text file tab delimted using OLEDb I need to be able to allow the user to insert a user created record into the file which I can do. The problem is I need to be able to let the user edit that record. From my understanding you can not edit or delete with OLEDB only insert So I thought I would read the file using stream reader, find the line I want to edit and just delete it, rewrite the file, then let the user insert a new record?
