I am unable to access the TableLayoutPanel feature inside the toolbox in Microsoft Visual Basic Express 2010, I was wondering if this is a feature that is excluded from this package or is it something that I need to download.

I'm trying to access my DataSet from that sub, but for some reason I'm unable to do that. It keeps telling me that my tables contains 0 rows, but I'm 100% sure that they contains several rows.

I'm going to convert the Access database to a SQL Server Server Express data base so I downloaded SQL Server 2008 R2 Express onto my pc with Windows 7. The installation went fine and I actually converted my Access database to SQL server. I did not change anything in my VB program.My problem: When I run my normal program with the Access database (no changes), I now get an error when it executes the following code:

It is generating the same compilation error for all my comments. Does anyone know why MS VB Express 2010 is acting this weird? Comments in visual basic are supposed to start with a single apostrophe so I don't understand this weird behavior.

after searching the net, it says that i might need Windows Installer 5 (SDK) which is 2,5 GB to download. Is it true that I need that SDK to install sql express properly? or it is not possible to have sql express on home premium 64bit?

I just installed Visual Basic 2005. I am having problems registering the windows media player on my toolbox.I followed the instructions on Article 821767 titled "How to play audio files using Visual Basic .NET or Visual Basic 2005", and selected the msdxm.ocx COM component. I keep getting a "Self-registration for C:WindowsSystem32msdxm.tlb failed" message.
I am using Windows VISTA and I have installed SP1 for VS2005. The VS2005 is run as Administrator.
