View 1 RepliesI wrote some code for a program I am making to take a screenshot when the program is minimized. Thing is something is wrong with the code and I am not sure what it is. Whenever I take a screenshot the program is taking the picture with the application up and not minimized.
So what I need it to do is minimize the application then take the screenshot and then reopen the program after its taken the screenshot. for the noob question but I am brand new to the VB and only been coding it in for less then a day.

Well, in IE at the bottom right, the gray 5 fot looking things help you resize it down there, and stay there even after you maximize the window. When I make a form on VB and all, then maximize the window, it disappears on mine, but stays there every other time, except for while maximized, IE does it, so how do I make my program do it so it will stay there even when maximized? I have tried lengthy work-arounds and such, cause if its at correct size and location, and you maximize it stays, but I cant seem to find out when u maximize to over-ride it, so it'll work right.

I wrote code for checking whether a particular process (Outlook.exe, in my case) is running or not. It is working fine when the Outlook window is open or minimized. But, when the Outlook is minimized to tray (which on the right side of taskbar), my code is not identifying the process.Could anyone please suggest me a way to get the process of Outlook (or any other program) that is minimized to tray?

Like it should remain minimized, it shouldn't interfere with whatever you are doing on your PC while it sends the strokes. I received this request from some one else to do. View 4 RepliesSo recently my Netbook keyboard stopped working, I got this new one. That would not be a problem if it was not for the missing [FN] key. My computer has several shortcuts, like FN + F6 = Turns screen off.
I cant seem to figure out how to bind these shortcuts to buttons in Visual Basic so I can just hit the button and turn the screen off that way, I've only used VB to make small simple fun stuff.
Respect, I should write a program for my keyboard player, which would have the option of changing sounds. So, the device is plugged into the USB, which lets you plug in 4 MIDI device or its keyboard. In order to select a song, a program should then all keyboards set the preset sounds. Is it possible to make? Do you perhaps know what we all need?

View 1 RepliesI am making this little tool for this online game i play (league of legends some of you might know it) Basically I made a small program which consists of 4 buttons and when you click button it starts timer and beeps once it reaches 0. Thats fine. Problem is I have to go out of game to click the button to start the countdown.My question is. While the program is running in background is there a way to press the button by assigning specific key on keyboard ? for example if I press F5 it will start the Bluebtn when i press F6 it will start Redbtn while I am in game.
