accessing data in a Java applet using Visual Basic? I need to do some research on whether or not it is feasible for the project I am working on, but it has been difficult to find any information.

Ok i'm loading a webpage in the WebBrowser Control, but what i need to do is manipulate that webpage. Here is the webpage (you will probably need to take a look so you know what i'm talking about). [URL] Now i'm trying to remove the advert at the top of the webpage OR somehow get the handle of the Java applet and set it to an x and y co-ord on my form.

We already have a browser based application that does a great job at that task. Since a lot of time and effort was put into the browser based code, I really want to use our browser based viewer rather than write new code to do the same.So, I've added a WebBrowser control to a form and figured I will call our Java applet from there and not re-invent the wheel.

I have verified at the time that it disappears that the Min is 0, Max is 100, and Value is a valid integer in range.

I am just wondering how I can add Direct X references to Visual Basic in Visual Studio 2010 Beta 2. I cant find them in the .NET reference list, or the reference list, or anywhere. I downloaded the Direct X SDK for August 2009, but I can not add the .dll files to the reference list. Is there anything I can do to add them? I need the references for programming reasons.

I have Visual Studio 2008 Professional and I'm trying to make it so I can click a button to send the application to the System Tray and then click the icon in the System Tray to make the application come back.

when the user clicks on the add button another form launches, which enables the user to add student info such as name, address, course, start date and end date, this information is then written to class when the ok button on that form is clicked, and then displays the data on the initial form in data grid. the user can add multiple entries and they are all displayed on the intial form and a the data grid is populatedwhen any of the rows in the displayed grid is selected, and the update button is clicked then the same form launches as the previous one and but this time its in the update mode and pre populates the form with the inital values.

I am now asked to create a .net application and I'm trying to create a "Hello World" starter app. I opened my Visual Studio, click File-New Project and all I see is Business Intelligence Projects and Other Project Types. My step-by-step guide says choose Visual Basic, Windows Forms Application. But I can't see it as an option.
