I am having some problem with calculation in datagridview. i have 3 columns in datagridview which are Date,location,Payment. What i want to do now is i want to calculate the total of the payment and my total is a textfield out side the data gridview under the payment field with the label total. This payment is for a specific person who books a photo shoot.suppose when customer 1st comes in the store he pays 30 pounds and second time he pays 20 pounds so total should come up as 50.every time customer comes total for that particular customer should change.

I wrote a Visual Basic program using the PMT function to calculate the monthly payment for a loan. Also calculate the Total of All Payments made over the term of the loan. This is how it should work, The user will input the loan amount in a text box. The user will use horizontal scroll bars to input the term of the loan (years), and the rate of the loan. As the user clicks the scroll arrows for years and rate their values display on the form above each scroll bar. When the user clicks the Calculate button the program will output values for the amount of the monthly payment and the total of all payments for the term of the loan. The two scroll bars are set to their mid-points (15 years and 10%), I am unable to get to show this values in their respective text boxes for some reason. [Code]

I have an assignment where I have to use financial.pmt to take input of a loan amount, interest rate, and term and display the monthly payment, total interest paid and total payments.

Our book doesn't talk much about the financial.pmt method. Can I use it to find the interest paid and total payments, or do i have to do that part with regular math like I've done?
Here is the problem. I am to write a VB program that will take a Loan of $563 that is to be paid off with 5 monthly payments of $116. The interest Rate is 1% per month. I need to display a table giving the number of months and the balance on the loan after each month.The Table displayed should look like this:

It must have 1 button and a list box that displays successive balances, contains loops to balances, loop code includes output to the list box, List box displays 2 columns (one for month and one for amount owed) and 5 months are displayed and the amount owed for each. The Amount Owed should go down each month from month 1 to month 5 where month 5 will equal to $0.00

I keep throwing this error "Missing Member Exception" and can not find out how to fix it anywhere. Date of Birth (Date), Times Played (Integer), Versions (Integer)
to calculate a "playvalue" (integer) in the following formula:
playvalue = (Today - Date of Birth) * Times Played * Versions
I display upto 100 of these records with the associataed playvalue on a webpage at any time.
My question is, what is the most efficient way of calculating this playvalue given it will change only once a day, due to the (today-date of birth) changing? The other values (times played & versions) remain the same.
Is there a better way than calculating this on the fly each time for the 100 records? If so, is it more efficient to do the calculation in a stored proc or in VB.NET/C#?
I am reproducing a program written in C to vb.net and I am getting different results on a math formula. I am sure it is something simple that I am overlooking. Here is the formula in C

for ex: i set one ticket's quota is 7%
staff A's quota - 47% staff B's quota - 35% staff C's quota - 18% so to knw how many tickets A get den B getx 1 ticket and how many tickets B get den C gets 1i came out wid a calculation like this -
Staff A - 47% / 7% = 6.7(max no.of tickets he can receive foe a period of time)
Staff B - 35% / 7% = 5
Staff C - 18% / 7% = 2.5
so first i compare A&B whr i took 6.7/5 = 1.3 -> so every 1.3 ticket A gets,B gets 1 ticket den i compare B&C whr i took 5/2.5 = 2 -> so every 2 ticket B gets,C gets 1 ticket i wanna implement this concept in my code..but i dunno how to come up wid this formula..
