I'm trying to save each item in the listview to the database.Below is my code in saving items in the database. The MISSING CODE HERE is where I should place the listview item.

I have run into an issue and need help solving it. I know how to go about adding items to My.Settings and I have already created the Specialized String Collection to My.Settings called List but I am having some trouble getting the items and the subitems to save to the list.
a save button called sl and basically I want for all the items in my listview to save to the database I created called logins and I have 4 columns Email,Password,Proxy and Port. So how would I make it save to the database when I click that button. Also how would I make the database load automatically into the listview when the program is opened?
ok, I have a "sum" for ading the total prices in list view. The prices are in the sub items. After they are added up ( they display as total: �{0}) how would I save them to add up later amongs other things I have saved in my.settings???
We're trying to access the Sent Items folder in Outlook 2007 (using Exchange) but the test for TypeOf(i) Is Outlook.MailItem in the below code snippet always returns False.We know we have the right folder because a test for items.Count returns the correct number of mail items.Inbox messages are fine. If we change the folder from olFolderSentMail to olFolderInbox the test for TypeOf(i) Is Outlook.MailItem passes and it's quite happy to show us the Subject.

I am trying to loop through the xml grabbing the values, then putting them in a listview, i can do the first part "name" but i'm not sure how to add in the "code" to the next column of the list view.
I am using the XmlReader class to try and read and xml file and populate some form controls from the data. My question is, how do I loop through a section of the xml file and add the "child nodes" to a listview controls. What I am trying to do now, is rather than process documents in a static folder, I want to process the documents that are inside my listbox, and save the new copies back to the list box (repopulate the list box with the processed txt files, I hope that makes sense). What I think I need to do is loop through the listbox and take the file path for each item, process it, then feed these back into my listbox.
When one is clicked, would like to be able to have it checked, and uncheck all the restCheckOnClick will not uncheck the rest (I want an effect similar to radio buttons).My first plan was to loop through each item in the ToolStrip Items() array, however these are ToolStripItems (which are a base class) and thus do not have the Checked property. So then I thought about using CType to convert them to ToolStripButtons, which do have the Checked property, except what should I do about the ToolStripSplitButtons?I basically want to say, "if this ToolStripItem is as ToolStripButton, then uncheck it"
ok Here is a little code I've been working on, now what I want is for the same icon/image to be shown for each item in my listview box. I want it to work kinda like when you have a group of images in a windows explorer folder and you press 'tiles' they each have the same icon indicating that they are an image. I am trying to do it the same way I produced my thumbnails so to speak but it doesn't work, it still just only shows the file name. I know there is probably something little but i can't figure out what is wrong,ideas?

I suppose I have to use the "For i=1 to ..." statement , but I am not familiar at all with this control. saving a listview with its subitems. I have 2 buttons when one is clicked it loads listview items and then when I click the other button it clears the listview and loads more listview items. My question is how do I save a listview before the listview is cleared and also loading a saved listview?

i am trying to add subjects and their corresponding grades to a table in you database. the table has these fields: Table1(subjCode,stdID,Grade1,Grade2,Grade3,Grade4,Grade5,Grade5,Grade6,Grade7,Grade8)And i have a checked listbox for the subjects and another for the grades. for each subject, the re are 8 items in the chklistbox, checked.
