Looping Over Outlook Mail Items In "Sent Items" Folder?

We're trying to access the Sent Items folder in Outlook 2007 (using Exchange) but the test for TypeOf(i) Is Outlook.MailItem in the below code snippet always returns False.We know we have the right folder because a test for items.Count returns the correct number of mail items.Inbox messages are fine. If we change the folder from olFolderSentMail to olFolderInbox the test for TypeOf(i) Is Outlook.MailItem passes and it's quite happy to show us the Subject.

I am using VB.Net and EWS Managed API to create appointments in Exchange 2010. When i call the "Save" method, an appointment is also created in the "Deleted Items" folder in the Outlook. Why is it the appointment is created in the "Deleted Items" folder? How do i avoid the appointment created in the "Deleted Items" folder? At the moment I have a listbox and two buttons. The first button will add files from a directory to the listbox, whilst my second button processes a single txt file inside a folder to remove certain words, then save the processed document as a copy.

What I am trying to do now, is rather than process documents in a static folder, I want to process the documents that are inside my listbox, and save the new copies back to the list box (repopulate the list box with the processed txt files, I hope that makes sense). What I think I need to do is loop through the listbox and take the file path for each item, process it, then feed these back into my listbox.

When one is clicked, would like to be able to have it checked, and uncheck all the restCheckOnClick will not uncheck the rest (I want an effect similar to radio buttons).My first plan was to loop through each item in the ToolStrip Items() array, however these are ToolStripItems (which are a base class) and thus do not have the Checked property. So then I thought about using CType to convert them to ToolStripButtons, which do have the Checked property, except what should I do about the ToolStripSplitButtons?I basically want to say, "if this ToolStripItem is as ToolStripButton, then uncheck it"

I need to enumerate all the items in an email inbox. However, this code fails

It fails whenever it comes across an item that ISN'T an email (e.g. a meeting request). I've spent the last hour or so trying to find a way of enumerating every item no matter its type. So far all I've come up with is to use the base Object type and then work from there but that's Late Binding and I'd prefer to avoid it if possible.
Has anyone come across this problem before? How can I determine what type of Outlook item it is during enumeration?

I have an Oulook AddIn project to which I would like to add a functionality to be able to drag an email item into a folder in Outlook's Main Folder Pane. I would like to have the folder in which an item is dropped into to recognige the new item and pop up a message.
I would like to know what events to use to achiev this task.

I have a piece of code which sends email with an attachment from my application. The code uses MAPI to send the email. It opens up a new email message so the user can add to the email message, and then the user clicks send.The code works fine. However there is one small problem. The email that the code opens, is always in Microsoft Outlook. Sometimes the application's user has Outlook Express set up as the default client, but my application always opens the new email message in Microsoft Outlook. (Outlook 2003. In the one user's machine that has Outlook 2007, everything works fine and the email opens up in Outlook Express.)As I searched for a solution, I saw this problem posed many times in various places on the Internet, with no solution (or none that worked). I did try several suggestions which involved creating registry settings and registering some dlls.

I am using Outlook 2003, VB 2008 and Win XP.I am storing user ID's in the User1 field of the Outlook Address Book. This is working find I want to Find all Address Book items with a value in User1 [code]This will find an Address Book item, even if the User1 field is not blank. I made a textbox1, button1 and richtextbox1. When I press button1, folder dialog pops up, I choose folder I need and textbox1.text changes to .selectedpath. How to make richtextbox1.text show the folder items I got?

This seems like it should be something very easy to do, but every time I approach this issue, I end up w/ solutions that feel "less than elegant" Here is my basic question: If I am looping through a dictionary that I have ordered in a particular way, within any given point in the loop how can I "peek" or get reference to a dictionary item 'x' places ahead of the current item without changing the current enumerator? the following thread consists of a listbox and a textbox for searching the items in the list..url...i am completely new at this list ( of ... ) thingy, and i cannot find a way to use that first marked answer from jwavila ,to add files from a folder to that list ( of .. ) in order for the app to act like it is searching the files in the folder as it responds to the .addrange items in that above thread.also, i have no problem loading files from a folder in a listbox.. is it possible to load the listbox w/files, then add them to that list ( of .. ), and be able to use the search option as the link above does?

This is before I open a project and visual studio is on the start page. The 'duplicates' do not go away even when a project is open.When project is open, Solution explorer displays duplicate images as well
I've tried all the following but still cannot get it to display normally. Restored my computer to a time when it was working ok. Full scan on my computer with AVG premium which includes spyware etc (No viruses , etc found) All software is updated fully

However the AndAlso should short circuit in the case where the item is not a ToolStripMenuItem and it doesn't seem to be doing so (as TypeOf xItem Is ToolStripMenuItem=false in this case)?

Certain areas of my tab control have become what seams to be transparent using Visual Basic Express 2010. I can rearange items in the tab, except in certain blackhole like areas. When I move a item within the blackhole area or move a item to the blackhole area it disapears to another tab. I can move items out of the blackhole region and they sit where I put them.
