Mathematical Equation - How To Disable Numeric UpDown

This is my way the dynamically generate a mathematical equation everytime the button is click. However, I want the combobox or the numericupdown turn disabled when the next question show out. For example, if the question N is generated, the combobox and numericupdown of question generated before N must be disable means that the user only can input to the current question but cant change the answer of the previous question?

I'm writing a program, intended to get a number of points from a label control, and decrement the number in the label control as the number in the Numeric UpDown is increased, and increment the number in the label control as the number in the Numeric UpDown is decreased.

Well, it's really my first time to try Visual Basic .NET, then I realized that not all my previous experience with VB6 will work smoothly in VB.NET. I am creating a simple program that will enter a name in the TextBox and will greet them by using the MessageBox class. But I wonder, since the TextBox that I'll be using is for inputting a name, I want to "trap" all numeric keys in my keyboard, I just don't know how to do it. This is fair easy in VB6, using the Text1_KeyPress(KeyAscii As Integer) subroutine.

I've got a program which starts with welcome screen "Enter the number of the random variables X" and this number refers to the columns. If it is entered 5 => a DataGridView will be created with 5 columns and 2 rows (first one is for random variable entered by the user, and the second is for probability). For example:I have to multiply x1 with probability p1, value x2 with probability p2, and so on. So EX = x1*p1 + x2*p2 +... I am currently using double data types. The problem I am encountering is that sometimes the user will have to input a value of 0 in the required text box and this creates an error. I am reading a data file and storing them in an array of string.Data is random, could be like "1","2","133,18" but sometimes there can be missing values like "?".Once I load the data in the array, I want to check if at least a majority (like 60% of them) are numeric values.If yes, then I wanna track down the higher and lowest value in the array, and output a range of 5.Loop through the array
If 60% of them are numbers (integers or decimals) then find highest value, find lowest value end if produce range
If for example lowest = 1 and highest = 100, range of 5 means 0,20,40,60,80,100 (so 5 ranges are 0-20, 20-40, 40-60, 60-80, 80-100).Also if the ranges turn to have decimals due to weird numbers, I would like to round them up.My problem is, in order to find highest and lowest when there are non numeric values in the array like "?", how should I handle those? I was thinking of something like Double.NaN but I would have to have an array of doubles.

I have a decent understanding of the logic, the content. I'm working on a puzzle and I'd like to write a short program. I'm looking to fill in the following variables: AB.CDE FG.HIJ (they're part of coordinates, and the puzzle is part of a geocache)
The puzzle asks you to determine which numbers correspond to certain colors, like this:

I need to define A-J as >= 0 and <=9. I also need to say that each color is >= 0 and <=9, but that no color can be equal to another color (purple ≠yellow, orange, etc). some number combinations won't work. Purple and yellow can't be 2 and 5 respectively, because that'd produce a negative number. I'm guessing that there will be more than one possible result. So how do I create an equation that calculates this.

I would like to read a user's input equation or expression as a string (such as "y=5*(x+6)" or "cos(3)^2") and have the program evaluate it mathematically. Does .Net have any classes that could do this? Obviously, the compiler can already take a programmer's coded equation and evaluate it. Of course this is a different matter, but is there not a way to harness that same power with runtime user-created equations? Serialization or anything?
The other option (I guess) would be to create my own equation-generator - breaking an equation down into a binary tree of the numerical values and the operations I suppose. Aside from being a nontrivial task, my program needs optimal performance as these equations are in large loops. At the very least, this would add several conditional evaluations to each equation run - dunno if that adds up.

The project is "kWh counter", that is, a simple program that calculates the power usage.The incoming numbers are the Power of the appliance (lightbulb) and the voltage (230/120).The formula is W=P*t that is multiplication of the power and the time it is used.I thought to connect it with a timer and the passing secconds multyply with the power, and, write the ussage on a label.This would be something like a simple digital power counter.Note that the voltage is not necesary.I am from europe where the standards are 230V.
