I am trying to make a product key mask. for example: I was able to do this with the MaskTextBox but I want to seperate each line to there own text box For example: [Textbox1] - [Textbox2] - [Textbox3] - [Textbox4] - [Textbox5] I already limited the Textboxs to 5 characters. VS 2008 Login With Textboxs?
Aug 3, 2010I am working on an internet cafe program for the desktops. This is how it works, the login files are stored on a ftp server in the form of txt files (E.G. USERNAMEpassword). The files are opened in the background of the program. Then once the login button is clicked, the two text boxes (passwords and username) will combine together and then in the background will look for the username and password as a single line of code.
login.txt:

open a txt file without the open file dialog and to save without the save file dialog.
P.S. I'm using a textbox.

Feb 26, 2012I've made a temp converter and i'm looking to get some validation for it. I have looked online, but most do it in a way that i don't want.
I have 3 text box's, of which i only want numerical values and nothing else to be entered into the boxes. However, i would like the validation to run when a button is pressed (in this case, the calcualtion button). I would like a messagebox to pop up stating there is a non-numerical value entered into any of the boxes and for the calculation code to not run.

The grid fits the size of the window, but certain views have quite a few columns and when the columns get shrunk down, the filter controls don't resize to fit. Dec 19, 2011i am using an unbound datagridview so i can dynamiclly add rows. all that is working fine. but the grid is not is the location i have coded.. i am using the defualt form as a base then coding the unbound stuff in.. should i just create a blank class file and do everything? the only problem i am having is the grid must bees in the correct location according to the pixel point that i have given it. Right now it is placing the grid at point (0,0) no matter what point is entered on the line for location. so what am i missing??????

2 Group Box Components And Both Are Same Size,font,location And Visible Is False - Both Component Cannot Locate At Same Location
Mar 13, 2012I have 2 group box components and both are same size,font,location and visible is false. When i click button2, the groupbox1 won't appear(the group box2 is on bottom n group box1 is on top).
Example:

groupbox1.visible=false
groupbox2.visible=true
button2
groupbox1.visible=true
groupbox2.visible=false
Because i want to show the different,so the location have a little different(actually both are same location). I think my code is no problem. The problem i guess is both component cannot locate at same location?

"You cannot start application <App_Name> from this location because it is already installed from a different location."
then they run it up again and it comes up.. and then just closes..in reading some stuff online it says its a framework 2.0 sp 1 issue ?these pc's have 3.5, but my program uses all 2.0 stuff..so is this a 2.0 sp level issue ? or should I make my programs start to use framework 3.0 instead ?
