Mar 8, 2011i got this code from the net , but i can't make this code work on the system i am programming so, i used the same codes to another system and it worked, when i tried using it to my system, it failed, so i started a new program and it still fails... what is wrong with my program? here is a sample of the code:

whenever i run the program, it compiles, but when i click the commit button, this message appears "NullReference Exception was unhandled Object reference not set to an instance of an objects" and it points to .NewRow

.net - Boolean From Nothing Sometimes False - Sometimes Nullreference-Exception

A CType(obj, Boolean) would evaluate to False(just as CBool(obj)), i think because the compiler uses a helper function, but that is not my theme. Why does casting Nothing to Boolean evaluates to False, whereas casting an object that is Nothing to Boolean throws an Nullreference-Exception? Does that make sense?

Out Of Memory Exception Was Unhandled
Sep 4, 2009I got an out of memory exception in a photo editor thingy i was making in vb.net. The bitmap image is constantly changing, and I always Dispose() of it after it has been sent off to the other bitmap. Is it being stored in a temp folder and using up all my space on the computer, or what? It always bugs after about 8 bitmaps have been drawn.

Jun 25, 2010I have the following sub where i am reading in a 250mb file of dictionary words in a list, for example

As you can see i am wanting to use linq to remove duplicates, and also because i want to use the union and except statments elsewhere.
The above is fine if the filesize is about 150mb but with 250mb it throws a out of memory unhandled exception, on 'sWriter.Writeline(sline).
I am thinking this would need to be inside the loop, but cant work out how include my linq statement also.

Feb 28, 2012I've been using it for three days, and tried to make my own application. Everything was going okay, it ran fine in the debugger and everything worked, so I assumed there would be no problems. But then when I went to run it from the exe in the folder, it shows me this:
