PS2 Buzz Controllers - Display A Picture Of The Buzzer When Key Is Pressed

I have decided to make a set of old PS2 Buzzers useful. I have been working on a VB.Net project in visual studio that will display a picture of the buzzer and when the actual key of the buzzer is pressed it will light up on the picture. I have added the USBHIDDRIVER into my project but have no clue on how to get this going.
The buzzers have 5 buttons, on the top is one big red one that has a light. There are four buzzers which are linked into a hub and streamed to one usb cable. When plugged into the computer they are recognized as a HID compliant device.
I have worked out the codes to make the lamps light up and have found the code for every key from Simple Hid Write. To make the lamps come on the code is WR 00 00 01 01 01 01 00 00 That turns on all the lamps. I would just like to know how i could make the happen. I have a checkbox that when ticked i would like it to send that code the the Buzz controller!

my name is Altair da Silva and I'm writing a Jeopardy game. I have most of the program done. I got stuck at one part. I have been trying to create lines of codes that would result in a buzzer. This buzzer has to work right after the msgbox with the answer comes up. I'm using a clickhandler and i would like to have this code under the clickhandler. I have tried almost everything. I know that there is a way of doing it, but i dont know how.

I need to display a arrow picture over another picture. But i cant able to make arrow picture transparent other than the arrow. Always it is in rectangle format(Picture box). I tried the picture box color to transparent, But that doesn't worked. A separate user control for displaying transparent image will be appreciated.

I'm trying to make a bosskey. [code] However I want to be able to have the user press the keys they want and have it display what they pressed in a textbox. Next I want the textbox to be used as the key/s for the key down event itself.

I am having trouble with a blackjack game I am creating
I have buttons 1 - 13 (A-K)
I have 5 Textboxes which when the above buttons are pressed displays the values in the textboxes.
I also have one more textbox which adds up the values of the above 5 textboxes to give your Black Jack Total.
The problem I have is if an Ace (11) is in one of the textboxes and the Total Value exceeds 21 I need to have the Ace (11) change its value to 1 instead.
textbox 1 - 5 will be the card values
textbox6.text will be the total Value
I have tried......
if textbox6.text > 21 and textbox1.text = 11 then textbox1.text = 1
This seems to work fine however it only solves the problem of an Ace (11) appearing in textbox1.text so i tried to repeat the code with the other boxes...
if textbox6.text > 21 and textbox1.text = 11 then textbox1.text = 1
if textbox6.text > 21 and textbox2.text = 11 then textbox2.text = 1
if textbox6.text > 21 and textbox3.text = 11 then textbox3.text = 1
if textbox6.text > 21 and textbox4.text = 11 then textbox4.text = 1
if textbox6.text > 21 and textbox5.text = 11 then textbox5.text = 1
However this does not work and my program freezes?

I have a few problems i need to solve. Firstly, I am looking for a piece of code i can use to display a picture from a bank of pictures. It will work on the basis of generating a random number and loading a picture that corresponds to that number.
i.e. Dim RandNumber As Integer

Secondly, can I then use subsequent picture boxes to display pictures from the same bank of images, without displaying the same image? Finally, I then need to be able to click the picture or a button beneath the picture to select it as an answer to a question and then the whole process starts again.

I am developing an application in ASP.NET MVC structure.I was wondering, I am trying to create a site that only has one page, it has a navigation bar on the left (Which is a list of user input), and then the main content in the middle.My question is, can I make the navigation bar (The user input list) static, and make the main content change, based on the user input, with an asynchronous AJAX postback? I would have multiple controllers which would set different results to the main content, based on the user input. How would I go around doing so, partial views and calling actions with asyncpostback's?

I have a TextBox and set the MiltiLine property to true and AcceptsTab property to false.When the TextBox has focus and i press Tab it works fine and the next control get the focus, but when i press Ctrl+Tab it works as if AcceptsTab property is set to true and makes a tab character into the TextBox.The reason i press Ctrl+Tab.. when switching between forms in my MDI application.Now how to make a Ctrl+Tab when pressed works like Tab when pressed in a MultiLine TextBox?

Our company is developing software projects that use a users windows username/password for program authentication. Our programs encrypt the username /password, send them to a web service. The web service decrypts the username/password and authenticates the user against our LDAP using the System.DirectoryServices namespace. This works well. There are two methods, one that validates the user and passes back the user's LDAP info in a datatable, the other passes back a boolean that indicates the user is on the domain. This is working just fine. Over the 4th of July weekend, our domain server hung. While it slowed down the login process for windows while it re-routed to a secondary domain server across the country, all our programs could not validate the users because our local domain controller was down.So I have been asked to update the web services to include a list of domain controllers that can be used if the local one is not available. The getinfo function uses the directory services to create an LDAP entry, then do a search based on the account name (windows username) and populates properties for common LDAP information. How can I extend this function, or re-write it, to run down a list of domain controllers found on the network to validate a username? I was thinking of putting the domain in a database, but that requires administration as they change. Is there a way to cycle through the local domain controllers listed on the machine?

I'm reasonably proficient with VB but never had any expirence with communicating with hardware. I have a piece of software that communicates with a Eurotherm 3216 process controller via RS232, but its use is fairly restricted what it can do.What I want to be able to do is take the communication from the software and redistribute it to THREE Eurotherm 3216 controllers, so my software would intercept the comms and effectively emulate the Eurotherm.

I am trying to get a routine to work in vb.net which will cycle thru a datatable which contains the path to various images and display each one for a specified time. I am starting the routine with a timer control and the images are then displayed indefinetly.The problem is they don't display and then when the routine ends it shows the last picture in the pictue box. When I trace it, it is correctly getting the path of each image but the line "Me.picbox.Image = Image.FromFile(path)" doesn't load the picture to the display. IF I let the routine cycle once so that it ends, the picture box contains the last image.Is there something I have to do to force the refresh of the display? [code]

this is so simple its embarrassing to ask. How do you display a picture in a picturebox? I want to have a static picture displayed on my single form application. I tried adding a picturebox control to the form and setting the InitialImage setting to my pgn file. But when the app loads they image is not displayed. I've googled around and found many references to adding pictures out of databases and etc, but nothing as simple as my. I just want to display the one image.

I have already got the code so I know when the picture has been changed so I don't need to do anything with that (I am pretty sure) but the big problem is that when PictureBox1 already has an Image, the next Image in the clipboard that is copied replaces PictureBox1's Image instead of going to PictureBox2. Will anyone be able to solve this?
