Pages Requires Two Loads To Change String?

I have the following code which seems to work OK except for a minor problem.When the user first visits the page the correct phone number appears but on the second visit - if they should see a different number, they need to load the page twice before the number changes to the new one.I'm not too sure how to explain this best so if you need more info please do ask.

The PrintPreview dialog loads and correctly displays the correct number of pages.When the Print button on the dialog's toolbar is clicked, only one blank page is printed to the printer.Seperately, when calling the PrintDocument1.Print() method, all pages are printed correctly to the printer.[code]

My boss has given me an asp.net web application that was done by his former employee. Now my boss has no contact with that employee. He wants me to make some changes in that web application. I went through the application. There is no documentation present for that application . Its a huge application. It contains many directories. I think it was a team work. It has many asp pages, aspx pages, jsp pages, xml pages, css pages, etc... How to understand other person or team's website or web application that was written in asp or asp.net and vb or vb.net?

ive search on the net on tab control in vb winforms but no luck. It is possible to change the color of the "rectangle part" at the topmost of the ab pages in tab control ? I have 5 tab pages and i want the tab pages small rectangle at the upper part.[code]Is this possible guys using only the properties on the tab pages? I couldn't find an appropriate forum which would suit the type of problem I am facing so I am putting it here.I needed to create an intranet web application that has pages with hyperlinks to eml files. The eml files as is known are email files in MIME format which outlook express can open. However what I found was if eml files are on your machine, it opens in outlook express but when opened as an hyperlink, it opens in Internet Explorer (IE) as an mhtml file. And any attachments that may be in the eml file are not displayed at all!I didn't understand why IE has to poke inbetween. After searching the net, I came across a solution that required changes in the Registry of the client machine.The change is to be made to the node HKEY_CLASSES_ROOTMIMEDatabaseContent Typemessage/rfc822.The following is a REG file that can be imported for this change.[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOTMIMEDatabaseContent ypemessage/rfc822]"extension"=".eml""CLSID"=""However after this change, though eml files opened in Outlook express, MHT files stopped opening in IE.Then I simply deleted the rfc822 node and to my surprise, MHT files opened in IE and eml files opened in outlook express and everything was fine!!But I don't want to use this sledge hammer solution. I am using this line of code on form load event it is working very fine but i have to problems
1. It replaces the form name and display the date and time but i want to keep both date and time and forms caption separated by some space.
2. When form loads it load the current date and time but the time does not change it should run.
What should i do please please help me code is as follows

I am using Stanav's PdfManipulation2.AddImageToPage(..., Pages) for iTextSharp library (v5.1.3) and was not able to add the image to specific pages: e.g. to add to only page 1 and 3 of a five pages PDF

Calling AddImageToPage() with the the optional Pages parameter will add the image to all pages though.

I have a form on a .NET webserver using aspx pages with the vb code-behind pages. The form collects the entered data and then emails it, that part works fine.Right after it gets emailed, this code checks to see if the email was sent or not and then updates the landing page accordingly. I have heard of setting server specs to have HTML pages parsed as PHP pages by changing the .htaccess or httpd.conf files. Is there a similar solution to have HTML pages parsed as ASPX pages?
A website I am working on does not want their PageRank to lower since their HTML pages are already indexed and used on other websites but wants to use some dynamic features of aspx pages (like include the navigation file so that changes to the nav will only have to be done in that one file).

Anybody have any idea about how to change the font of the string. Suppose Dim strFind as string="Answer" I want to change the font of the string as "Verdana" Purpose behind that, I have an richtextbox1 contains the questions and richtextbox2 contain the answer so while concating i want to append text "Answer" before answer. but these concatenate string then displayed in richtextbox3. But the appended text showing in diff. font while question in different font (question has "Bookman Old style7" font)

Within the program, there is a button that opens a file inside of a second form ( DocViewFrm ) and it works fine the first time around. Within this new window, there is a button that uses Me.Close() to close the window and return to the main window. Upon the attempt to open this second form a second time, the program crashes on the Me.DocViewFrm.Show() line. The error message reads:
An unhandled exception of type 'System.ObjectDisposedException' occurred in System.Windows.Forms.dll
Additional information: Cannot access a disposed object.

I put a shockwave loader into my VB.Net application. When the shockwave loads, it opens about 20 different IE windows and says page cannot be found, while correctly loading the shockwave movie into the application. It's bizarre... how do I fix this? Not even sure if I should post this in this forum or a flash forum.

I have set up a scheduled task on startup in WINDOWS 7. This loads my app and displays information from .txt file sources. Mostly it functions correctly but occasionally loads the program twice or even three times thus creating errors trying to open files that are already in use. I seem to remember there is some way to load an .exe once only?

Lets say DateTimePicker1.text = 3/15/11
I can't use / symbols in a file name so how would I turn that value into 3-15-11 so I can use it in my file name string?

I have all-one-case strings representing postal addresses stored in a database, but I want to capitalize US state abbreviations (e.g. " ca " to " CA ") when the abbreviation is separated from the rest of the string by a space on either side.The lousy way I could do it would be to have 50 statements like
If addressString.Contains(" al ") Then addressString.Replace(" al ", " AL ")
If addressString.Contains(" ak ") Then addressString.Replace(" ak ", " AK ")
...
Edit: That is a really lousy way! Here's what I did instead:
addressString = StrConv(addressString, VbStrConv.ProperCase)
'This needed to be done anyway, but it turns " ak " into " Ak ".

and then in the Form1_load sub and before calling the data adapter to fill data, insert codes below:

The method works but only for the first database. I found once adapter.fill is called and the connection to a database is established, the connection can't be changed.To do what I want, I have to create a startup project to call my main project. When I want to change connection, close the main project and start again.
