Panels / Tabs And Buttons (which Are What Need To Be Rearranged) Are All Dynamically Generated

To set the scene, I have implemented a drag and drop rearrange in a FlowLayoutPanel (thanks to a few good Tutorials) which worked absolutely fine until the client decided that he needed many Panels each contained in the Tabs of a Tab Control.Ironically the FlowLayoutPanel rearrange still works if the panel is not in the Tab Page. However the moment it is it stops functioning completely.In all honesty its probably a simple issue that I'm missing but I can't seem to find an answer. I'm certain that the issue is in the following block of code, most probably in the following place:If controlcoll(i).Bounds.Contains(mouse.X - flow.Left, mouse.Y - flow.Top) Then Either that or in a property of either of the controls. dynamically creating buttons with images in them and then accessing the on click event for that button. However lets say for example I have three buttons created during run time, button 1, 2 and 3 for simplicities sake. Each button needs to correspond to a value (lets say one, two and three). The problem comes in when i want to, for example, click on dynamically generated button 3 and have it display "three" in a message box. But button 2 might close the program. How can i reference an event when i don't know which button corresponds to which action..

I have a piece of software with two tabs, inside each tab there are buttons (the user can add the buttons when they want). when tab1 is full tab2 should start to fill. I currently know how many buttons fit on the screen so I just say something like if buttons > 150 then start to populate tab 2 The problem i have now though is if the resolution is changed then a different amount of buttons can be displayed. so if I put my screen to 1280x720 some buttons are left of. I was thinking of detecting the resolution and then using different cases for different resolutions but this seems very inefficient im wondering if there is a different way?

So I have 2 panels and the same number of radio buttons added programatically in each panel. For ex.
RB1 -> Panel1
RB2 -> Panel1
RBo1 -> Panel2
RBo2 -> Panel2
I want to group RB1 and RBo1 and RB2 and RBo2, but when I add the radio buttons to the different panels they group each other. I tried adding RB1 and RBo2 to the same GroupBox but could not achieve the goal either. Is it possible to manually link the radio buttons?

As you can see, when I open a program from my menu, a new button will be created with text similar to this, "C:Program ". The button it self will not do anything. How can I create the method at the same time the button it is for is created? Also how can I change the text do that it gives me, for example, CCleaner.exe instead of the whole target path?

the problem is i need to be able to add event handlers to each of them including, click, mouseEnter and mouseLeave but i can't figure out how to index each panel so that they can be accessed and identified. i tried using a property but that didn't seem to work or i was doing it wrong.

i m trying to load the tabs dynamically.(Using AjaxToolKit). Firstly, when i hit button1 on pageload, it loads tab1() (works good) and when i hit button2, itloads up tab2() All these tabs are ascx pages. In tab1 i m loading WebUserControl.ascx. it works okay.
Issues:
1) When you runthe code, first click on button2, it doesn't load tab2 dynamicaly but it does when u hit button1 for the first time.
2) Repetitive clicking on button1 or button2 should load the same tabs next to eachother again and again but it doesn't
3) Thirdly, the main issue is that I m tryin to load another .ascx on loadtab2() which should have webparts in it. I should be able to load an another custom usercontrol into these web parts dynamically. But i m not able to do so.

I am creating an application for Windows Mobile 6 in Visual Studio 2005. I have a TabStrip on the main form. There are 2 buttons i want at the top of the tab strip, but i don't want them to be part of it. I need the same buttons to show when the tabs change. I used to use the ZOrder function or Parent function but can't see how to do it in the new version. Any ideas?

My goal is to take some form inputs and prompt the user to download a summary of everything once a certain button is clicked. I have no need for the file once it is downloaded and so I'd like to have a solution where the data is streamed directly to the user. My current solution doesn't even prompt the user for a download. I have a web browser control in my windows form. I am trying to automate some process in a website. During this process, the invoice pdf has been generated dynamically and shown in the web browser control. I need to save that pdf locally. Please note: there is no direct link to download the pdf. I googled a lot past couple of days and haven't found any solution yet.

On my main form I have a 9 button grid that I need to fill with a gradient colour so that it represents a "heat map" going from Green (lower left) to Red (upper right). The "heat map" needs to be generated dynamically as - if I use an pregenerated image I have noticed colour variances when working on different screens / projectors as in the app there are other dynamically generated graphics & the two sets of colours need to match.So to achieve this - on my main form I have a PictureBox that I fill with the gradient colour.On top of the PictureBox I place my grid of 9 buttons.I then hide each button & take a screenshot of what is behind it & that then becomes the background image for the button. The button is then made visible.All works fine when I am testing in on a simple form The issue is that this arrangement needs to be placed on a tab control & I'm having difficulty replicating what I could do successfully on the simple form.....

The code below loads 4 Tab Pages at runtime to a TabControl. If I have UserControls in my toolbox, I can't just drag and drop the user control onto these TabPages because they don't exist yet! How do I accomplish this dynamic loading of UserControls onto the Tab Pages as they are created?

I have created a Stored Procedure in SQL which produces a pivot table. I've successfully created a GridView in ASP.NET to display this data.
However, some of my column headings are dynamically generated from the data (AutoGenerateColumns=True), and those column headings are just dates, so they will look different almost every time the table is generated.
This all works fine, except that the date format of the column headings is wrong. I know I could change the way SQL produces the dates in its output, but I don't want to do it that way. I want to control it from the web page.
I didn't think this would be difficult - I thought I could just do something along the lines of finding the cells in the header row and changing the datastringformat. The problem is that whether I put my code in the GridView's DataBound or RowDataBound event, the cells in the header row seem to be empty, so I can't reformat them. It's as if the headers get populate some time AFTER the DataBound event, but I don't know when or how to trap it.

I am adding a series of RadioButtons to a GroupBox programatically. By default they are all placed on top of each other. So I use a bit of math to position them all nicely and then resize the GroupBox.
However I notice that the GroupBox has an AutoSize property, but it doesn't seem to be resizing as controls are added.
Is there a better way to position my radio buttons than to specify each one programatically? I mean, can't this stuff be handled automatically by the framework?

remove the tabs from the TabControl and just buttons to control which screen is shown.Ive coded a form that uses buttons to hide and show panels but because you cant click buttons in design view, its extremely hard to edit the content in the panels.

I'm creating a PDF file on the fly using ITextSharp and ASP.NET 1.1. My process is as follows -
Create file on server Redirect browser to newly created PDF file so it is displayed to user
What I'd like to do is delete the PDF from the server as soon it is displayed in the users browser. The PDF file is large so it is not an option to hold it in memory, an initial write to the server is required. I'm currently using a solution that periodically polls for files then deletes them, but I'd prefer a solution that deletes the file immediately after it has been downloaded to the client machine. Is there a way to do this?

I want to create a form where the user can upload as many images as they like with the input areas being dynamically generated. I can't use Ajax for this I need to use ASP.NET controls and the images are being written to a database. Any ASP.NET control that can accomplish this? I have an asp.net web forms application. In this application, students upload assignments and submit a survey along with it. For the survey, I read values from DB and dynamically generate ASP.NET Controls like radiobuttonlist, checkboxlist, textbox on the form during gridview's RowDataBound Event. I cannot do it in Page_Init method because I create only if a user click on a specific assignment which requires a survey to be submitted.
When I submit the survey form, the survey values are not saved into database. During debugging I figured it out that the values are not available in the codebehind page. The radiobuttonlist.selectedvalue returns and I get following error[code]....

I'm trying to produce a repeater showing amounts of money taken by various payment types into a table.Payment types available come from a global settings file as an array, I am creating a dataTable by looping this list and extracting sales reports (there might be a more efficient way than this loop, but this is not my concern at the minute).My question: How do I bind this to a repeater and display it when I dont necessarily know the table column namesI've tried various methods to give the table a header row and give the columns numerical names from a for > next loop, but am either getting no results, orystem.Data.DataRowView' does not contain a property with the name '7'. < or whatever numberThis is where I currently am:

I need to know how to have a button on a tab to create another button on a second tab that contains a panel, with appropriate spacing, the same size as other buttons already present, and the name of the tab that generated this new button as the text on the newly created button. I.e. button1 on tab1 will create and place a new button on a panel in tab2 that already has a grid of buttons (maybe 3x10 buttons) which will be placed underneath a particular column with the text tab2 on the new button which can also refer back to that tab automatically. Hopefully we can get all this code under a single button event.
I also don't know how to have a button on tab1 that focuses on tab2, which sets the back button on tab2 with a reference to go back to tab1 in order to remain dynamic. I.e. clicking on tab1's button will go to tab2 and set the back button there with a link back to the tab it was referred from.
I'd also like to know if there's an easy way to create and destroy tabs with a specific layout. I.e. We have home tab, and comment tab. (This is for the sake of argument) On the comment tab1 (which contains all posted comments), we have a new comment button which creates a comment tab2 (or a dialog box for that matter) with appropriate textboxes, labels, and buttons in the right places which could also make use of the issues I posted above. So the new comment button on the comment tab1 will create either a new comment tab2 with appropriate objects, or a dialog box with the same, and then the submit button on this comment tab2 or box will create a new textfield/buttons on the panel containing the grid of buttons with the information provided in the fields from comment tab2/dialog box which is then destroyed.
I hope i haven't made the examples too confusing, but I can't figure out how to even make progress in these directions. Trying either fails completely, or semi-fails in getting these examples to function 100%.
I've already tried posting in other forums, but with no replies. Hopefully you all can help me figure this out.EDIT: This is not homework, I have scoured forums and google trying to find the answer to these problems. I'm hoping that because these are mainly VB based forums I can find some answers here.
