I changed the date of datetimepicker format to yyyy-mm-dd in custom format...but it displays 2009-00-22...the month part is not showing the month of the exact month..how to change the format of the date?

In my app I have the date format as Format(Now, "d") which shows 13/12/2009 but when inserted it displays as 1900-01-01 in the DataBase. Currently i have a ReturnSystemDate in a module, so that whenever i need the current date and time i call this method, however my data is saving as in 1 format and displaying in another. I have my variables set up as dateTime to store the current date and time, when calling System.dateTime.now.toString() i get 11/08/2010 Time, however when casting to Date as in CDATE() i get 08/11/2010 time. How can i stop this?

What I have is a vb app that has a datagridview bound to a MySQL database. One of the columns is a time that is updated at a set interval using the MySQL NOW() function. The format that the now function uses is MM/DD/YYYY HH:MM followed by the ante/post meridiem. What I am hoping to do is for each row in the datagridview, parse out just the time (H:MM). Then compare this time to the current time. If a minute has elapsed between the time that is parsed and the current time then throw up some kind of alert (e.g message box). I know I can loop throw the rows by using the following:

Now by some mechanism i added two more files Superman.txt and Spiderman.txt to the existing string. Now it became
1 , abc.txt , 2 , def.doc , 3 , flyaway.txt, 0, Superman.txt, 0 , Spiderman.txt
What i am doing here is that this csv string is paased into SP where its splitted and inserted to db. So for inserting I have to take the files with numeric part 0 only rest will be omiited .Which will be further then converted into CSV string.Array will look like this

str[1]="abc.txt"
str[2]="2"[code].....
So at last i want to say my input will be
1 , abc.txt , 2 , def.doc , 3 , flyaway.txt, 0, Superman.txt, 0 , Spiderman.txt
