Predicting Content Of Image Using RGB Values

Nov 2, 2011

I am developing a system to predict the content of the image using RGB Values. I am storing average values of red, green, blue along with content name in four columns. I am retrieving the content using sql query
select FEEDBACK FROM feedback where RED>@rl and RED<@rh and BLUE>@bl and (BLUE<@bh) and (GREEN>@gl) and (GREEN<@gh)
But is there any way to train these stored values? Like machine learning /neural network etc??

Javascript :: Saving Div Content As Image On Server?

Jan 18, 2012

I have been learning a bit of jQuery and .Net in VB. I have created a product customize tool of sorts that basically layers up div and add's text, images etc on top of a tshirt.I'm stuck on an important stage!I need to be able to convert the content of the div that wraps all these divs of text and images to one flat image taking into account any CSS that has been applied to it also.I have heard of things that I could use to screen capture the content of a browser on the server which could be possible for low res thumbs etc, but it sounds a little troublesome! and it would really be nice to create an image of high res.I have also heard to converting the html to html5 canvas then writing that out... but looks too complicated for me to fathom and browser support is an issue.I'm thinking perhaps I could do with two solutions for this. Ideally I would end up with a normal res jpg/png etc for displaying on the website, But also a print ready high res file would be very desirable as well.

VS 2008 - Read A 16bit Binary File (tif Image) And Pixel Values Of The Image Ranges From 1200 To 4500 - EndOfStreamException Unhandled Error

Mar 18, 2012

I am trying to read a 16bit binary file (tif image) and pixel values of the image ranges from 1200 to 4500. I tried to use BinaryReader using ReadUInt16 but I get EndOfStreamException Unhandled error. ReadByte method works fine with an 8bit tif file. I do not know how to read a 16bit image file using binaryReader. Shouldn't I use ReadUInt16 since values of pixels range from 1200 to 4500?

Obtaining RGB Values For Each Pixel Of Image

Nov 2, 2009

I am developing a software that would scan the image in a picturebox and obtain the rgb values of each pixel in the image and convert each rgb values to HSL values. I am using vb 2008 express edition. I am still a student. I am just starting to learn vb 2008. All I have done is to obtain the image in a file and paste it in the picturebox. Below is my code. I dont really know how to start with the process of obtaining the rgb values of each pixel and converting them to HSL values and averaging the HSL value.

Code to obtain image:
Option Strict Off
Option Explicit Off
Imports System.IO
Public Class Form1
Inherits System.Windows.Forms.Form
[Code] .....

I still do not know how to start with the process of obtaining the rgb value for each pixel.

Reading Cell Values In An Image?

Mar 10, 2011

I want to read the values of the 8 neighboring cells in an image as shown on the attached file. For example, the green cell is the home cell and it has 8 neighbors (cells from 1 to 8 as seen on the attached image). It will read all 8 neighboring cells then it will move one cell to right (now pixel 4 will be home pixel). Again it will read its neighboring cell values and then it will move to next pixel etc. It will continue till to the end (the last cell or pixel of the image).

Convert Image File Bytes Into RGB Values?

Oct 16, 2011

Is there anyway to convert an image file bytes array into an array of the real RGB values of that image?

I don't really want to use GDI+ or the System.Drawing library, but simply apply a certain calculation/processing to every byte of the image file and get another array that contains the RGB values of every pixel in that image. I know it could be done as I know how to do it in a different programming language (Python) but not in Visual Basic.

Read The Latitude And Longitude Byte Values From The DEM File (retrieving Binary Values)?

Mar 23, 2009

I have a DEM file(Digital Elevattion Model File) and I am trying to open the file, where we have Latitude and Longitude values inside the DEM file. And, Now I have opened the file using Filestream and Read the file using BinaryReader. But, I am having a trobule in getting the values of Latitude and Longitude.I am getting Byte values randomly as 1,202,31,271 etc. But, we dont have latitude and longitude values more than 180,and also I am not getting 16 bit UInt values. For example, the values should be like Latitude 20.00416666666667 and Longitude 39.99583333333333.So,read the correct Byte values of the DEM file. The code I have used till now is:

Dim fs As FileStream = New FileStream("C:UsersadminDesktopHeader and DEM fileE020N40.DEM", FileMode.Open, FileAccess.Read)
Dim rd As New BinaryReader(fs)
Dim convertDB As UInt16
For i = 0 To rd.BaseStream.Length

(VB2010) Save The Values To A File Which Loads The Values In The Specified Labels On Startup?

Jun 2, 2011

lets say I have a form (form1) with lables a-z which are all designed with default text "0". So they all show 0 on program startup. which is fine. I also have a dialog with 2 TextBoxes; I want my program to update the default text/value on (only)form1 labels x, y and z to whatever was put into the textboxes when i press the OK button on the Dialog, so these specified labels show the 'new' value on next startup. Is it even possible or should I save the values to a file which loads the values in the specified labels on startup?

Exclude Multiple Values In Sum Depending On Values In 2 Columns In SSRS 2005?

I have simple columns and their respective sums. However, I exclude 1 particular value from each sum, like so [code]...

Now I need to exclude another value ("Awaiting Progression") from a second column called "PROGRESSION".

Since I already exclude value based on 1 column called CATEGORY, how do I change my =Sum(Code.ExcludeOthers(Fields!CATEGORY.Value,Fields!ACTION_PLAN_NEW.Value)) to exclude a value from the PROGRESSION column if it's = ("Awaiting Progression") ?

i.e. How do I exclude multiple values, depending on values in 2 columns in SSRS 2005?

If picturebox1.image.tag = ("12") _
and textbox1.text = 1 _
and textbox2.text = 2 Then
checkbox1.checked = true

unfortunatly when i debug it says the picturebox1.image.tag = Nothing

How To Find Repeated Values In One Dimensional Array And Change The Values

Jul 14, 2009

I am using Visual Basic express edition 2008.I am trying to know if a value in a single dimensional array is repeated in the array. If yes, then multiply one of them by 100. For example:

MyArray (14) = 12, 15, 18, 15, 18, 11, 15, 18, 16, 14, 18, 8, 12, 17, 10
In the above example:
MyArray (1) = MyArray (3) = MyArray (6) = 15
MyArray (2) = MyArray (4) = MyArray (7) = MyArray (10) = 18
MyArray (0) = MyArray (12) = 12

Averaging Event Values Associated With Date Values By Hour, Day, Etc

Oct 28, 2010

I have a bunch of events with values (how many people went through a doorway). Each event is associated with a Date. There is no fixed period to the events .If no one comes through the door, no event is generated, but often multiple people can go through at once, so the value can be greater than one.

Sometimes events are minutes apart for a time, sometimes there is gaps of a few hours,

Using the Date class, is there an easy way to average my values over periods of time?

Datagridview Bound To Bindingsource: Displaying Both Old Values And The New Values

Mar 23, 2011

I bound datagridview to bindingsource. The bindingsource has its datasource a collection Called Rates which is a collection of Rate items. The rate object has a property called VALUE. I need the user to be able to edit different values for the collection; However, on the datagridview, i need to keep displaying on one column called OldValue the existing Rate value before the change while allowing the user to edit that value in a second column called NewValue.

In other terms, One colum OldValue will keep the existing values from the DB before being edited by the user, this column OldValue is readonly. Another column NewValue will display, the 1st time, the old value from the DB (similar to OldValue when we do the Fetch from the DB), but it`s editable column, so the user can modify each value in the column NewValue without overriding OldValue cells. For now, I bound both columns OldValue and NewValue to the same property VALUE of the Rate object,
