Reloading Database Content In Application

I am new to using databases in applications and i have a code to select data from the database. However, the first time the application starts, new data is inserted into the database which is needed after. But, the data does not appear until the whole application is restarted. How I can refresh the database content.
The current code for selecting the data is:

I have created a file say "abcd.xml".I have created this in a device which can be connected to my system and synchronized(which means data from the device can be synched to the database and vice versa).Now when I reset the device all the details in the device is lost but it exist in the file. When we do a reset and do a sync I need to check a condition and if its true I need to load the details from the file to database.This is what I'm supposed to do

OK so after a week of aggravating, hair pulling, disaster of trying to figure out what should be simple tasks but beat me down! Ok so I wanted to create a application that would, somewhat manage the users own collection of video games (Lame i know ) you add your games to a listview item, with an image and some sub items, viewing details, using a textbox to search your games... etc i hope you get it
Ok so what i cannot figure out, or find by combing the internet! is how to save all new items the user adds... And including: the item, all the sub items and the picture thats associated with the item.! Instead of posting the code, i posted the application Source code itself here:Source Code , I also started a project here: Codeplex
Later i eventually was thinkin of ading a "wish list" feature where you could add the games you want to get later and also tag it with a release date so when the date comes up, it will let you know, maybe through some alarming way or textbox somehwere... IF you guys want to make it better or fix it! go ahead, i just want this app to save upon EXIT or directing me in the right direction would be VERY VERY much appreciated!

Trying to print HTML dynamically but prints the source code of the page instead of HTML content.
I tried to use "System.Drawing.Printing" name space, but the only printing that i get is the actual html code.
Does anyone know the way to dynamically print those files from my application ?

I have a quick question I have 10 picture boxes 5 on left side 5 on right side of screen and basically I would like for when I click on lets say picture box 1 it will display content in the center of the application. Where would I start to add the content as well? Would I have to create a separate form to be able to do this?

Im struggling to display the content of my database. I'd like to create a submenu (subpages within pages) to use in my CMS.
Here is my menu so far, as you can see the pagetitles are repeated for each subtitle. I only want one pagetitle to appear for each submenu.

I'm creating an small application where I search from the databse table tems and add the result line to a datarow of my datatable "dt", I the set the datagridviewe datatsource to this same dt.How can I save this dt content into another table of the same database.I'm not ussing stored procedures and dont understand much of parameters.

I looked everywhere online and I couldn't locate an equivalent VB2008 code for this php code.

I found this code below that does it but you must select the position of the field (column 0, 1, 2 etc) myData.GetString(1) instead of the name of the field. In the php code above it is "title". I'm looking for a command like myData.GetString("title")

Under VB.Net 2005, I created a Setup Project which produced installation files for a windows application. I placed the mdb file in the User's Application Data Folder and remapped the DataDirectory to Environment.SpecialFolder.ApplicationData at runtime. Unfortunately, sometimes the system just did create the mdb file at the Application Directory.
An example was that I installed the program in Windows 7 under a normal user account. I chose inside the installer that the program would be made available to everyone. After installation, the mdb file would be created automatically for the Administrator account but not for the normal user account. For XP, the whole thing worked fine. I am tempted to write a routine to check and create the mdb file if it is not present, but why does this happens and what other opinions do I have?

1)This is my code.. (below)what i am trying to do here is to insert username and confirmed password into a sql table called login via a pre created form.I have 1 textbox, 2 Maskedtextboxes and a button.
what i would like is if the passwords do not match in both maskedtextboxes for the system to throw out a message saying passwords do not match please try again..which then clears previous content and requires the user to enter details again. once details are correct and system commits the new user details to the table and throws up a confirmation message.

I want, when I show Form2, the form1 should be displayed in background. And when I close Form2, the form1 should be updated or starting complete new Form1. I do this but there are two tabs of Form1 in TaskBar. One is background display Form1 and another is updated. I want only one Form to be displayed.

I've been working on this game the past few days, a simple game where two people control different tanks, and shoot each other, very basic so far.The problem I have is when one player is dead. I have the form recognizing each players death by using this code (It's within a timer subroutine)

and that code is replicated for every key pressed (Arrow keys, WASD, e, and end). Those booleans are handled in a timer subroutine, where if the boolean is true, they will move/shoot. (Turning the booleans to false is done in the 'Private Sub KeysUp' subroutine)
TL;DR How do I get the game to restart itself when a player dies and hits the replay button?
P.S. I've tried 'Me.Refresh()' as well, and that didn't do anything

I am trying to place a repeater within a repeater using xml data. I have it working exactly as I want, but the method I have used reloads the data for each repeater. I think I need to cast as an XmlNode but I'll be honest - I have no idea where to start. Here is my code - I'd like to keep everything in the code behind if possible.
