So i have this form where it prints a certain record i search, but im trying to do restaurant form and a print form that it will print the last order done.So I Know how to print it via search in a crystal report form, but i'm changing the view and i want it to print the last order saved.

The one area I am have a problem is PositionItem. I would like to sense that the User has changed the Record Number in the BindingNavigatorPositionItem, handle my record Update, and move to the Record Number the User entered I have looked all over and have not found any way to do this.

What I need is something like the Filter except I just need to move to a particular record based on the value of the primary key.
I'm using VS2010 with a mdb database. I would like to open a new form and fill it with the last added data in the database. I tried to use the "BindingNavigatorMoveLastItem" from the tooltip toolbar but i can't get this to work.

I have this problem where when I'm declaring the variable 'AddRecord' and use the code to insert the data in the textboxes to my database for my program which involves adding/updating/finding records with data like name, address etc. I'm using an SQL Query to insert the record, however in the line where I declare the variable 'addRecord' should use the SQL query and specify the objects to be used, I encountered an error with 'txtName.text' even though the object name is correct.

For a school programming project we are supposed to create a database with 2 tables country, and continent.then we populate country with every country name, population and continentID. For continent we populate with each continent name.
i have completed this step, and i am able to run a linq query to display all countries and corresponding continent into a datagridview. My problem arises because we are supposed to display each record one at a time, and be able to cycle through one at a time. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to do this.
for example if i made a query to select all countries in africa, i want to beable to display the name of the country, and population in textboxes. then have a next button that will go to the next record.

both queries have 5 fields. now what i want to do is after this insert or update takes place, i need to look at this inserted/updated record and compare it with another table (table2). Especially for update, i have 5 fields in both tables. if any of the 5 fields dont match with table2, then i insert a new record in table 2 which is the updated record in table 1.
can any one re-edit this query to delete whole record from table1 using username from gridview cell 4 ... ?

Also i am using Crystal Reports for Report solution. my question is How do i created reports such a way that they can be printed in faster Ascii Format on any DotMatrix printer. The default true type fonts make printing very slower.
I tried to use "Draft 10 cpi" font which come to available me after i installed a correct driver for my Epson printer. which also helped me overcome this problem. however it wont be the scenario with all my clients i.e. they might have different printers having different Make with different drivers installed. i have tried to open such project on there PC but the printing wont come in Draft instead the fonts get expanded too much & the print wont come right.
