Create Programming Flowchart/documentation From .NET Source Code?
Mar 5, 2010what tools do you use to create programming flowchart/documentation from VB.NET source code? There are absolutely no comments/documentation at present. I am a beginner, i.e. I tried Sandcastle but it is way over my head and could not get it going, not even with GUI.Fatesoft's CodeVisual To Flowchart is OK but it is almost the same as the code and I still don't understand the code.

Chinese character show up fine in my textbox if i do copy and paste. But from the web source code, they all show up weird.

Sandcastle - Xml Documentation <code> Tag Shows C#?
Jul 28, 2011I am trying to use the <code> tag inside the <example> tag to show a sample code in xml documentation. However, when I build the Sandcastle project, I see that it is shown as C#. There is no language attribute in <code> tag. And I could not find a setting in Sandcastle's project properties.

Jan 26, 2010I don't know what this is called so I've struggled to find an answer from google but I have a vague memory of it from t'old days.I've sub-classed (* see below) about 8 framework controls, overriden some properties and added some functionality into each one.The changes I have made are identical in every case. If I make a change, I have to go through each class and apply the same change there.I was hoping there may be a keyword such as <IncludeSourcefile "common.vb> that I can put into each class.
(* note) I use the term sub-classed but I don't know if that's the correct terminology. I've also seen it used for call-backs. Is sub-classed the correct term to use?

I was wondering if anyone could recommend a tool. I found Project Analyzer but I need good justification on why we need to use this software because the verndor is foreign based.

I'm working with a lot of code with long lines (thousands of lines), and manually reformatting it is quite time consuming. I've seen a number of tools for rearranging code into regions etc., but haven't found any that reformat with line breaks.

Aug 9, 2009I have been looking forever and haven't even gotten a single clue on how to do this, but I made a program that sends a file that has some video game info to my e-mail. I want some other people to be able to use this, but I don't want to have to build another .exe for each person, so I was wondering if there was some way that I could make like 2 textboxes and a button where they enter their e-mail and password, then when they click the button it makes an .exe ( I would put textbox1 and textbox2 as the e-mail credentials I am assuming. )
