Ok, what I want to do is a little abstract but I bet it can be done.I want to know if it's possible to take a picture of a certain region of the web browser. So maybe like from point(1, 1) to point (100, 100), and the image is the screen between those points. Idk, but is it possible?

I want the program to be silent, and therefore I dont think I can use the clicking feature with X,Ys.Is it possible, without disturbing the real mouse, to click that Rectangle? The image is always in the same place, I just don't want to use the actual mouse, so the person can do something else while it runs?
View 4 RepliesI need help with a vb app. Currently it takes a character separated list as input and outputs an sql insert. In the list are urls among other data. What the app currently does is download the source of the first url then load the first jpeg for viewing. At this point I accept, deny, or cancel. If I accept or cancel we move to the next url. If I deny we move to the next jpeg in that source and I'm given the dialog again.
I'm not real familar with VB; I just know that its relatively easy to hack out a solution.. an ugly one in my case. I'm now realizing the way I've done this is too time consuming. What I want is to load the url in a vb browser and then be able to click an image and get its source and move on to the next url. It would also be nice if the images were outlined like with the web developer plugin for firefox. I assume I could just add some css to the soure of each url. Alternatively, I could throw out the vb browser and load each image in some kind of list control.
im making a program for a friend at the min where long story short in part of the program the user will press a button while they are viewing a web page in the standard web browser control, when the button is pressed i am trying to get the location of a image off the page into a string.
i was originally trying to go through the web page code one character at a time searching for "<img" tags but had no success. i have just seen the WebBrowser.Document.GetElementsByTagName
I have this url as an example: [URL] As one can see, it returns a nice picture--just what I need. Now, I need to put that "picture" inside a picture box or perhaps save it to a file. I would prefer the first as I believe it would be faster. Note the picture comes to us in a .gif format. I use vb 2005.

We have a browser in a panel that gets resized programatically. Unfortunately when the panel is larger or smaller than the nominal size of the web page visited by the browser, we either get a clipped image, or a lot of blank area. We would like to force the browser page to stretch to fill the available space when we dock the browser in the panel.

Usually I work with programming backend robust applications, but of course when I do a simple website for a friend is when I cant figure out the problem. I'm using a VB master page for the site. The "wood" div is supposed to be a background image that repeats dynamically as far down as the page goes, but for some reason it only goes as far as the browser window height. The background-repeat:repeat-y doesnt seem to do anything, so I feel like the problem has to do with the CSS. Here's the master page:

convert the code to be used in a browser with tabcontrol? I tried, and it works with one that DOESN'T use it, but I want to use it with my browser with tabcontrol. And, I have read ALL of the ones previously given to other people.
I've just finished making a web browser suited for my personal use, but when I click on a new link or something it opens a new window in Internet Explorer - which gets extremely anoying.. Is there a way to make all links open up in a custom browser?

I coded a web browser over the course of a year called Nova - very advanced with tabbed browsing, bookmarks, homepage, history, etc etc etc etc. I could go on all day about how advanced it is. But.. there is one flaw. You cannot make it the default browser; I don't know the code!I already know the CommandLineArgs stuff so it actually opens the HTML file rather than just opening the program; in fact, I already can make files open with Nova completely. It's just the other stuff - you know, when a website is to be opened from a help file or something, it opens with Nova, Windows recognises it as the default browser, stuff like that.

The first being that I have a textbox for my address bar and I want it to do a few things, I want it to expand when i set my browser to fullscreen , be able to press enter when typing in it and it will take me to that webpage and for it to show recent history... (i know it seems like a ton of expectations mainly i would like the first 2 the third is not as important) So i dont know how to do any of that...
I also would like to know how to go about making new tabs on demand and not have a bunch of tabs just sitting there...

I have been searching a lot online but couldn't find a solution for my problem. I want it to refresh every certain interval of time without this message to display. Now Ican't minimize my program because I'm putting an automatic Sendkeys.send("{Enter}") after the refresh to get rid of that message by clicking on "Retry".And If I minimize it the Enter will be executed on the active Window, which might be any other Window.

I am new to vb 2008, but I know how to automate some html elements. I know how to make the webbrowser1.navigate via textbox1.text with multiple lines, however I want my webbrowser to navigate to each url every 1-1.5 seconds once button1 is clicked. I created a new cursor (it works properly, I tried it in windows 7) but is not working for me in the program.I took the Windows cursor (aero_helpsel_xl, from C:WindowsCursors) and it appears to me the same error.i use with this code:

edit: I realized what the problem ... It can read only cur files with 24-bit color and lower - but it shows only two colors: black and white.
I have an app that loads a jpg into a picyure box, then updates exif data in exifworks classThe problem is that when I save the image(from image used for picture box) or class (to save exif data) then try to delete, sometimes I get success, others it won't allow delet I have gone to the trouble of using gc.collect, do events, put the delete in a timer & wait for the delete before continuing & still get the problem
