Unable to add new rows of data to a database using the DataGrid control.

My problem is probably ignorance as to how the DGV works, anyway, the problem.I have a bound datagridview which is used to collect user input. Data for 3 of the 7 fields is entered by looping through the rows and progmatically entering common data anfter a 'Save' Button is pressed:

I have a form that i want to be saved to my database. The form is adding a new record to my sql server 2005 database but it is not bringing the text over with it. I am trying to select multiples rows from a database table and insert the text into several "label" controls. For example, if the database search returns 5 results. then insert the first row's text into label 1, the second row's text into label 2, and so on. The number of rows will be variable. I was thinking of a while statement. I am having a problem understanding how to even seperate multiple rows from a query in VB. Would using an array for the query results be the right way to go? row one would be row(0), row two's text would be row(1), etc.

I have a postgresql database, one table. This table has a date column too.And I have this code:

The problem is, that the pgreader returns no rows (the parameters are right and the database contains the data too).firstday and lastday are f.e. '2005.05. 01.', the ConvertDate function converts the date to '2005-05-01' (the dates are storen in this form in the database)And when the commandtext="select * from arfolyamok where datum between '2005-05-01' and '2005-05-31'", then it works, the pgreader has the rows.Why? What make I wrong?
The main problem is I couldn't display the result when I retrieve data from database.
1. On Picture 1 above, for the Dg_Details, I set the Columns in two type, textbox and checkbox. But, for the datagridview1, I didn't set anything.So, when I bind data from database to Dg_Details and datagridview1, the datagridview1 display the data from database, but the Dg_Details doesn't display the data. Can anyone tell me why "Rows cannot be programmatically added to the DataGridView's rows collection when the control is data-bound." I keep getting an error "Invalid Operation Exception was Unhandled" error. All I am attempting to do is allow the user to select products from a list(or a second datagridview) and have it added to the datagridview so they do not have to type in every cell since the other cells are not visible because they do not purtain to their needs. Plus they will be able to save all items at the same time.
