Aug 25, 2010I can't change change the font size or font name or color of the text in the DHTML Editing Control. I have 2 listbox controls FontNameList containing all of the installed fonts on my PC and FontSizeList containing some numbers to be used as fontsize and I use the execommand and build my App but the font did not change instead it grew bigger but when I tryed to change it back it stayed the same. The Code for that was:

May 10, 2010I use a fontdialog box in my application allowing users to change the font details within my application. This works fine but unfortunatly I don't seem to be able to set the values in the dialogbox as they are read only.
Basically if the user has Bold Wingdings set and wishes to change it to something else then when they open up the fontdialog box I would like to be able to set the font to wingdings and bold so the user can see what they previously selected. Word seems to do this so why cant I?

but reading it from the label and setting the font to the textbox, is the problem i am facing. i know the code does not read the font as it is displayed in the label's text, so it might be possible to just get the font name in one label, and font size in another, just by locating those two. this i have an idea how to do, just do not know how... if you have a solution on how to locate these two, and add them separately.. getting the font to the label this way, does not show the option of the selection for the font style.. i have tried using my.settings to do so, problem there as well.. basically, i want to be able to save the font selected, and next time the app loads, it loads with those those settings.

Sep 21, 2010We have an assignment to create some XML outputs from data in SAP R/3. We are using SAP .NET Connector, for doing this. The problem we are facing is that there are some fields which are not exposed by any standard BAPI. Unfortunately we cannot create customized BAPI on this particular system.
We are therefore restricted to whatever standard BAPI are available. I have seen on internet that tools like ERPConnect can provide access to tables directly using RFC. How can this be performed in VB, without purchasing any such tool, using or without using .NET Connector.
Accessing AD Mailboxes Directly?
Oct 23, 2009I've been tasked with redeveloping a tool that accesses mailboxes in Exchange, extracts the new emails (and their metadata) and then saves the info in DB. Even a brief perusal of the code shows that it could use some serious re-writing (no use of DirectoryServices for example).
However, from what I can make out the code loads the mailbox being accessed into Outlook and iterates through the mails. Is there a way to access the emails directly? I should point out that, unfortunately, we do not have access to the Exchange servers. They are managed by another department.

I cannpt even get the default value from the underlying dataset into that cell.
