Doesn't have to be in VB.NET, could be in C# or just point me to the right registry entries that needs to be created to make this work and I am happy too.Anyways we have a windows client server application called let's say "CoolApp". Now a third party is developing a web front-end using the Interface, BL and DL dlls. They want to add a functionality when user does some specific search on a records lets say a customer with the id of 12345, and then they can send an email to anyone with the access to the application where the link in the email would look something like;

A friend of mine called me to that we need a program for our club that when a member will enter in club gate so first of he will have a card upon which a barcode will be printed and through barcode reader his code will be scanned and will be find out that whether he is a temporary member or regular member or absent member or other. Only regular members are allowed to enter into club and allowed to avail all services of club. Now the question is that i dont know that how the custom barcode will be created and how the scanner will be controlled with vb.net?

My job is requiring some visual basic programming and i've only programmed in C#.So i have this code:

I'm getting the error: Operator '+' is not defined for types 'ControlesModificados. ControlesModificados.JQDialogEventHandler' and 'ControlesModificados. ControlesModificados.JQDialogEventHandler'. How can i write this code "commandHandler -= value" in other way so the error goes away! or how can i defined those operators for the eventhandler.

Inherits Button[code]....
As you can see the DialogCommand is using another JQDialogHandler, so i can't just use

I'm trying to build a web application that uses an SSL connection. So I did some research and found out that I could use the RequireHttpsAttribute class to achieve what I needed. I have a problem with the handler on the contextmenu items which is not called. I opened my project and I clicked the rightmouse button on shockwave which the contextmenu popup and I can click the Test item, but obviously the handler testmenu_click() is not called.

I think I'm close but how do you get what the text box is bound to? I'm trying to loop through all my textboxes and add a handler that on validation will insert a null if it equals string.empty. How to set the property manager by sending it the appropriate Binding context. I know that this code will not find textboxes in panels or ones that are on other controls, that's fine, for now. I'm also not sure how it will handle controls that are bound to different datasets.

I'm trying to create an event handler for a graphic elipse, so I can do the math in a separate "control box". There will be multiple graphic elipses feeding the TextBoxE1 box. ( As for all the note textboxes.) This is a graphic creation of a guitar neck that will tie to a 2 table database. Click on a note & it will be identified, a series of notes will call on the related scales from the database. The problem is that I need to create an event handler for each graphic elipse so the code won't fire unless the elipse is clicked on. If only one elipse in that keynote value is clicked, it will put a "1" in TextBoxE3. TextBoxE1 & TextBoxE2 will be hidden.
TextBoxE1 value = "0" until at least one "E" is clicked. ( Elipse that is valued as "E".)
TextBoxE2 value = "1"
TextBoxE3 value = TextBoxE1 + TextBoxE2

I have 2 listboxes on a form. Each listbox has a few items. As you know, I am able to have 1 item selected from each listbox, therefore making it 2 selected items from different listboxes.
I want to create a keyboard + mouse shortcut so I can de-select or change the selection mode of the listbox when Alt is held down and Left button on the mouse is clicked on the selected item. Here is the code that I wrote, which does not work.

With VB.net, I'm coding a simple application to get more used to the new .Net format.
I'd like to save all the information to a 'new' database file. how to create a database on the fly, once that is done i'll be able to connect to it no problem, but actually creating the file is proving difficult to work/find out.
Also, with vb.net and the newly created custom file, how can it be made to automatically open that information with the program?
Is there a method in installation to associate the file type with the new program? How can i check when the program loads if a database file has been 'double-clicked' (rather than just running from the .exe of the program) and proceed to load the data?
EDIT1 - Extra InfoThe windows application has many different fields and content etc, then i need to save that to a file that could later be loaded by 'double clicking'. I assumed the easiest way would be to create a mini-database for each unique file

I am creating a custom config section that will allow me to manage what ELMAH exceptions I want to ignore from my VB.NET/ASP.NET app. Here's my code. I made it easy to paste in a blank code file if anyone's up to the challenge of diagnosing the problem.

I get the error An error occurred creating the configuration section handler for IgnoredExceptionSection: Could not load file or assembly 'WEB' or one of its dependencies..
What boggles my mind is that this all works fine in my C# console test app after I convert the code from VB.NET using a web utility. However, when I paste the VB code from my web app into my VB.NET console test app, it doesn't work there, either, so it appears to be a C#/VB issue. What am I doing wrong here?
