I have eight labels which is supposed to get message using the tool tip. I have used code to set tooltip message using the following:

But I am not getting any tooltip message.

I have this under the Exit buttons ToolTip1.SetToolTip(ExitButton, "Click here to exit the program")
But when I hover my mouse over the exit button nothing pops up..

Now when I run the code, the msgbox shows the current text and then the new text. BUT the actual text in the StatusBar remains unchanged.
I have a dropdownlistbox in a webform. When the page loads, it displays the initial text, that is ok. When selection is made, it works ok. But when i tried using the text property ie msgbox(cbomodel.text), what shows in the previous text. The newly selected item is never recognized. Is there a way to bind the text to the listbox after a selection is made?

Anchor property works just fine on all of them except one text box and one label. The property is clearly SET on both objects and I can't, for the love of me, figure out what is making these two act "disobediently".
I have a custom class and my dependency properties won't work with bindings unless I declare the class as a static resource.

Im currently making a tower defense game and im on my last bug for the game and i cannot get it solved. For some reason my For Loop to check if a shot hits a person is not working properly. Ill set it to "For Me.x = 1 To NumOfFaces 'Const for 5' and itll only check the first enemy and last enemy. Here is the code to check for if a shot hits an enemy, this runs on a timer through out the game.

So I am having issues with trying to get a right-mouse click to work. I have a grid of 30 buttons and I need to right-click to enable a button and left-click disable. I have surfed all over the internet trying to find the answer and the closest I have come to it is it detecting a left-click, but never right.

I'm having an issue with rasing an event. In my application I have a form and within that form I create an instance of a class (clsUsage). Within clsUsage I create an instance of clsUser which does several checks form permissions and other things. What I want is for clsUser to send status updates to clsUsage. ClsUser will be a dll but for now I've got it as a separate project in my solution. The RaiseEvent in clsUser seems to execute but the proc in clsUser that handles the event does not execute. I'm wondering if this is threading issue.

I'm recreating a program (don't ask - it is embarrassing) in Visual Studio 2005 VB where I read a spreadsheet in an then select values from certian rows. I added the Interop reference and the MS Excel 14 object library, but when I type something like:

I'm concerned because when I type the period after the ) it does not allow me to select value. I type it in and it does not give an immediate syntax error but I'm guessing that when I try to run this, it will fail the build. Is there an other reference I need to add or do you get the value of a field differently for Office 2010 than we did for Office 2007?

I am running Windows Vista Ultimate. I have a copy of Visual Studios 2005. The toolbar is not working. I tried all of these and none of these fixed the toolbar:
-Show all (greyed out)
-Reset Toolbar
-delete C:UsersUsernameAppDataLocalMicrosoftVisualStudio8.0*.tbd worked one time then it did not.
I've updated my settings via:

then I call

When I check the .config file, the entry under

I tried using LockBits to blur images, since I heard it was faster, and there's no error, but there's no blur either. It doesn't do anything. The commented-out code is the code I had before using LockBits, and it works.

I have some code written by another developer(no, really). The datagridview has the AllowUserToResizeColumns property set to true, but at runtime the grid will not allow column resizing. I've checked the code to see if the property is being set in code and I can't find anything. Is there some other grid property that, if set to a certain value, will disable column resizing?
