VS 2005 Specifying By Code The Same Event For More Than One Control

I have a lot of ListView control on a form and I'd like them to have the same Click event . The problem is that I would like that be done by code . The reason is not only that they are many so it would take time to select them all one-by-one , but also in the future I might add more or even change the name of some of them . So , is there any way that we specify (by code) an event to be the Click event for all of the ListView controls , no matter how many they get to be and no matter what their names are ? The editor I am using is VS2008 , not VS2005 that I specified in the topic's name .
I've read thru Iceplug's tutorial on control arrays and got it working. I tried to add a new event by basically copying his click event code and calling it a doubleclick event. I used the proper addhandler and assigned the correct name to my sub. I have the click event changing the background color to blue and the doubleclick event changing the background color to green. The background color does not change to green. Why?

I am working with an ActiveX control and need the ability to detect a mouse click. The problem I've run into is that this ActiveX control does not have a Click event. Is there a way to add a Click Event to this control?
I have a user control that I have added a listbox to. I have added this control to a form and would like to use its click event. Private Sub mycontrol1_Click(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles mycontrol1.Click When I click on the control on the form it does nothing none of the code for this event gets triggered. If I click on the listbox inside the user control that .click event inside the control does trigger. How can I make the click event for the user control trigger when the control is clicked?
What's the code to make a form keypress event for escape? I know that "If e.KeyChar = Chr(13) Then" is for the ENTER button. What's the code for the ESCAPE button?
i recently received a new work pc and have installed visual studio 2010 premium on it. this was installed on my old machine as well, the only differece between the two PCs being my old one was 32bit and the new one is 64bit.With that said, when i create a windows form project and drop a control on a form, double click that control, the default event code is created for me.It is missing the "ByVal" portion of the code. Using a textbox as an example, below is the code it generates. Is there a setting that I'm just missing and need to turn on? I've been using visual studio since version 2005 and i've never seen this before.

I made a UserControl with a button on it. I then added that UC to a form by dragging from the toolbox. Now I want to be able to access the click event of the button on that UC control in the form code. How do I do that?
The particular control I'm trying to figure out is a UserControl. When I design it as a separate DLL, add it to the Toolbox, then drag it onto the form, it shows up. But when I declare the instance in Form_Load & add it to the Forms Controls, it doesn't show up. (Note that I'm dealing with two different UserControls here as what I don't really want to do is create it as a DLL. It's specific to this project & that's where I want it-in this project. I suppose I could create it as a separate project in this solution, but again-that's not what I want to do. I can add a UserControl to this project, but I can't seem to *use* it. Frustrating.)

Class3 inherits System.Windows.forms.UserControl, and contains a label.OK, found that I can make the UserControl appear by setting the BackColor (X.BackColor=). Doesn't seem like I should need to do that as it's set in Class3, but apparently when I add it to the form it picks up the form's backcolor-which might be the way UserControls work.
But, it still doesn't show the label that's on the UserControl-just a block of color where I placed the UserControl.And now, I might have solved this problem only to raise another. I finally noticed that although Class3 had an InitializeComponent sub it lacked a Sub New-so it never called the InitializeComponent sub.
I added a Sub New that does nothing except call InitializeComponent & now I'm getting the whole thing. I guess now the question is why the Sub New is required for Class3 but not for the DLL? (Or maybe it was created automatically for the DLL but not for Class3? I'll check the hidden code in the DLL project to see if it was created or not.)
How should I go about getting my mouse position over multiple controls, and such. I can't use the form_mouse move event, or any other control event nor can I use them all at the same time cause that would conflict with the actual position I need for an object.
am trying to call a very lengthy set of code from under the DoubleClick event of one control, from within the Click event of another control....without having to copy and paste the desired VERY length code from the first control into the second.

This code works like a charm if i want to allow only numbers and backspace on my textbox.Problem: I have 15 textboxes( txtBcNum1,txtBcNum2,....,txtBcNum15 ), what's the best way to call this function inside KeyPress method on each textboxes with out manually adding it to KeyPress method?
I'm writing some VB2008 code to control four 7-seg LEDs I bought from Velleman. They came with some example code in VB 5.0, and with instructions telling me to input 5 bytes at a time in the format Chr$() & Chr$() & etc. for the rest of the 5 bytes. When I try to do this using VB2008, it rejects the $ sign, so I've tried it using the Chr() format, which VB2008 allows. However, it doesn't work. Is Chr() the new version of Chr$() or are they different entities? In sending data to the LEDs, I'm using LiveComPort.WriteLine() as my command. (My serial port is called LiveComPort) I also tried it with LiveComPort.Write() asthe command. I know that my serial port and the LEDs are working, because they respond to the demo program provided by Velleman.

I have this function that totals a series of textboxes everything works fine except the last line, i need to call the function a second time for the correct total of last line,anyone have any ideas what i am doing wrong? I even tried to make the last line its own function and call it seperately but have the same behavior.
