VS 2005 Tree View Full Path Function Gives Invalid String

I thought I was done with the tree view control until i realised that my tree view control was behaving differently when it came to sub nodes . I have attached my treeview pic and also a sample tree view.

Since I clicked on subfolder1 i was expecting the msgbox to display D:Folder1Subfolder1 but unfortunately the msg box doesnto even have the name of the node i clicked on but when i use selectednode.text I get the correct node text. Anyways why isnt my full path working. I then tried manually designing the entire scenario using tree node editor and the code which i mentioned above works. But whenever i populate the trr programatically the above problem starts.

Lets say that Computer 2 connects to an external server. How can that server get the FULL path of the address, not only the IP of the first router?(of course in vb.net)

I have a list of my menu strip in a table with columns
1.SlNo
2.Menu Name
3.Menu Parent No (SlNo of Parent Menuname)
I need to load this menulist from table to a tree view. As if they are in the Menu Strip. That is Sub Menus Should Come under Appropriate Main Menu upto 4 levels of sub menu i use.

i tried with the Item_Drag event it works for drag only...but GridView's DropOver event doesn't work what can do ?

I want to select a node from my tree view, whatever I select is going to get a record from my database, I need a unique ID in each node so it will collect the correct document relating to the selected node.
How can I do this? the name of the node maybe used more than once? Each row in my database has an ID and Title, the title is the name I guess the ID being unique needs to be tied in somehow.

I prefer SQL server but im afraid in this app I have no choice. I think the .DBF file is v III dBase according to a thrid party .dbf viewer. The code explodes on the DBCommand.Fill(DS) line, telling me I have provided and invalid file path. The path is good to go.
Should I be using a driver with a different provider? When I remove the Extended Properties parameter I get an error unrecognizable database format - hinting in this case the path is correct.

I have a project which has a table with a list of stores. Originally the store code was a string of 3 and was padded so 1 would be 001 etc. I have had to increase this column to 8. The problem is when I read in data from a XML file the store code is padded so it looks like this '500 ' rather than '500'. This is now causing a major problem when I do a comparison.Is there a way to it does not auto pad to the full string length?

I'm using WMI code and VB 2008 to see NIC status. So far the queries are working, but the methods aren't. For example, I'm trying to set a network card to use DHCP, I get invalid function with this code:

I thought the %AppData% should find the relative path. When I go 'Start|Run|%AppData% windows explorer takes me to that directory. I can not put the full path in, as the user is different on each client machine.

I have a bunch of objects, they aren't in XML but the xml document would look like this[code]...
The tree is obviously very deep. Does anyone have an algorithm to create this into a jstree, series of "UL" and "LI". It would be christmas if you had the code in vb...but I will be satisfied with just the logic. My thought is to eventually make this into a jsonp web service so I can use jstree to build a tree, but for now im just trying to understand the logic necessary to parse this correctly.

I have a requirement. I have a wcf method add and delete which takes person object as parameter. I retrieve these methods into a tree view.
Now, when I click on the node for eg. ADD, I need to retrieve the parameters into another tree view.

I am loading the directories from my C drive into a treeview using the code below. It takes forever due to the number of folders. Is it possible to have this only populate down 1 level and then use a NodeMouseClick Event to drill down further, in the same treeView, if the user desires to do so?
