Nov 27, 2010First off, this is not for a class. Although I *AM* taking VB classes, I wanted to do something on my own that would help me learn. I find that the examples and assignments in class, are okay, but I would like to do something that I could apply in real life, perhaps apply it to my own work and master many techniques. So this could actually become my own final exam
That being said, I have searched and read all the posts on quizzes and tests and they are usually asking for code answers. No from the beginning development and planning. I am sure eventually, I might ask some code questions, but I would like to start at the beginning and analyze, develop the algorithm/ flow chart, and desk-check first.

Mar 18, 2011I am trying to make a program that can calculate the percentage of people passing an exam. There are buttons for each letter grade, and working label counters for each time you press a button. Each button looks like this, except replace the letter with the appropriate one.

Aug 7, 2009I am building a VB 2008 Express Edition application.I have built a database (with a single table) using SQL Server Compact 3.5 and have connected it to the project. I am able to view and edit the data using a DataGridView on a second form (tutorial made this very easy). I need to work with the data in the table within the application. how to easily load the entire table into an array or even read the table a row or cell at a time so that I can make all of the data available for manipulation within the application (the tutorials only seem to show how to display the data).

In the exam we are supposed to change bits based upon the scenario. The scenario and skeleton code are attached.

Apr 12, 2011I am trying to complete a driver license exam in vb that includes a module and two forms.It says that I have to have 2 arrays to compare(correct answers and user input) in order to see if the user passed or failed. User must have >15 correct to pass.I am so confused on the arrays part and need help to get this application to work. But, when I changed the mbd to accdb:

It resulted in errors:
