How would I change the text in the last column in the listview. I was thinking of looping around the lsitview but that would just change ever item. Anyways this is what I have.[code]

I am trying to change the forecolor and backcolor of the column headers in a ListView and I have been able to change the background color; however, now the text has disappeared (the text that shows up in the column headers). How do I go about specifying Color.Argb(193, 218, 248) as the text color? Please advise as I have searched all night online and have not been successful as of yet.

I would like to know how to count how many times the word "ON" it is apearing in that column and same for the word "OFF". I am using this code to count how many lines I have in the listview Label1.Text = ListView1.Items.Count() but I couldn't figure out so far how to count of the words "ON" or "OFF" in the column "STATUS" wchich have the index 9.

Now I don't want to depend on the column value which is input by the user. I want to do automatically.Let say If my text file contain 131 lines. Since my row will be 2 which is fixed so it should take 66 lines as first row and 65 lines as second row and do the process that I explain above. If line is 132 then it will be 66 for first row and 66 for second row.

I am going crazy trying to figure this one out. I have been told many times that you can get the data of a column in a listview in this manner: YourListView.SelectedItems(0).SubItems(1).text This does not work. I have a ListView called EmployeeListView that is correctly populated by my database. There are three columns: (0) is First name, (1) is Last name and (2) is Employee ID. I can see the information in the ListView when I run the program. What I need to do is to pull out the Employee ID and put that into a variable called EmpID.

As far as i can think of it can be achieved via overriding the paint event but i have not done any overriding of paint events on windows controls so far.
