I am developing a windows application using vb.net, I have a simple html page with place holders in it, I load the page into a stream reader, replace the place holders and then I need to print the html content, anybody have any idea how to print the html content as html and not source.P.S. code in vb.bet or c# is ok.

I want to print this table. which consist lot of pages. when I used window.print() its printing into 7, 8 pages. but my problem is I need Header and footer on each page (A4 size). how can Set header and footer to each page.I am using asp.net with C#.I put header and footer on .aspx page but problem is that data is binding dynamic when I print then print goes multiple pages (ie 4 or 5 pages depend on data). So header come on first page and footer on last page I need header and footer on each page
View 3 RepliesI've been asked to get the page counts for documents stored as tif files. What I have now is looping through our third party software to open them and then get the page count. I can't stop the image from flashing and it is very slow. Does anyone know of a way to loop through them quickly and can the page counts (one image can have many documents)?
View 5 Repliesi have a from with a treeview and a webbrowser control and three buttons. i want the back button to load the previous viewed html file from myresources and the same but opposite for forward?... also how can i and where can i link my external css to my program like my.resources so when i export the program for installing on another machine it still works? and one more thing... how can i intergrate/embed the webbrowser control into my program because as i believe it uses internet explorer and if someone installs my program onto their computer and they have un-installed ie and use firefox it won't work?

I have no problem printing one page, but when the records exceed one page it does not go to the next page. I've tried setting e.morepages to true, but it just prints infinite number of pages with the same result. I'm guessing the problem is with my pointer, where the if-else condition is always true so it just keeps printing.

I think the best options to print an HTML file is the webbrowser control? but this won't give the table header at the start of each page (and I will have to contend with the ugly file://c:empfile.htm at the top of each page etc)

The three forms in my project have the ability to print in PrintDocument1.Print event. Each print-document consists of only one page in landscape shape and everything works fine. But it seems a bit clumsy to print three times with three buttons. I know, I can use the PerformClick event, but I wonder if there is a simple way to append all three documents into one by clilking only one button in my last form?

I am trying to load multiple single page documents and then send them all to the printer in one job. In the end I'd like them duplex printed. At this point I only need to do this with word docs, but I'd like to know if I could do it with other doc types, like pdf? What about printing a one page word document, a two page excel document and a one page pdf document? Have page 1 of the excel on the back side of the word doc, and then the pdf on the back side of page 2 of the excel.

I have created an app that will load an image file(yourimage.jpg), preview it, strip the extension (yourimage), upload to server via FTP as (yourimage.jpg)and send an email with the link to it ( url/yourimage.html) . I built a specialized userControl using VB2008 (on XP 32-bit) to embed in HTML (not ASP!) and compiled it, pointing to x86 CPUs. I added the necessary keys to the registry (see attachment) to declare a classId in a HTML 'object' tag. This scheme works OK on all 32-bit OS I could put my hands on, but fails to load on 64-bit: I could test only on XP and Win 2003. No error message and Fiddler does not even know something happened... I installed VS2008 on the XP 64-bit machine and ported the code to a fresh userControl (to check the code). I got the userControl running on this workstation without any trouble. I copied this new DLL on another workstation and added the necessary keys to the register, but to no avail. I checked the registry and the 'Wow64' keys are there allright. As a check (and to provide you with a 'working' example), I:
- built a very simple userControl on the 32-bit environment (label, textbox and button to display the text in a mMessage box),
- on the 32-bit workstation:

I want to add page title and GridView heading on each page.
I used page break to break the GridView into multiple pages, but only the first page comes with title and all other are without header and title page.
For a dynamic GridView, my code uses AutoGenerateColumns="true".
