C# - Print HTML Table Using Asp.net. Header And Footer On Each Page
Sep 2, 2011
I have htmltable which dynamically generated. I want to print this table. which consist lot of pages. when I used window.print() its printing into 7, 8 pages. but my problem is I need Header and footer on each page (A4 size). how can Set header and footer to each page.I am using asp.net with C#.I put header and footer on .aspx page but problem is that data is binding dynamic when I print then print goes multiple pages (ie 4 or 5 pages depend on data). So header come on first page and footer on last page I need header and footer on each page
I would like to print an HTML file that I am generating myself, but I want the pages to have the same table header at the start of each page. I think the best options to print an HTML file is the webbrowser control? but this won't give the table header at the start of each page (and I will have to contend with the ugly file://c:empfile.htm at the top of each page etc)
i'm making a small word processor program using vb 2008 and i need the codes for the following commands: creating table adding and removing rows and columns header and footer
I have a very complex multi-page form I am developing in the Crystal Reports which is included in VS2008. There is always 1 Page A. There may be 1 or more page B. There may be 1 or more Page C. Page A has 7 subreports and a header from the main table. Pages B and C hold overflow records that won't fit on Page A. Page(s) B holds 1 subreport and a header from the main table. Page(s) C holds 3 subreports and a header from the main table.
My problem is the page header on pages B and C does not print except on the first page B or C and I need it to print at the top of each one. (There could be many) Pages B and C are currently subreports but evidently that doesn't work. I have to format the report this way, it's a gov't form. Does anyone know how to get a subreport (which is actually a working report) and which can grow past a single page, to display a page header at the top of each new page?
I am trying to extract a url from a html page that is located specifically between the <h2 </h2> header. For example the following header is in the html page;
I need to make a difficult makro. When the makro has been activated (will happen via a button), it has to add a header and a footer to the document. Also page1/frontpage needs a different header and footer than all the other potential pages. So far, I have accomplished making page1/frontpage to work - somewhat.I did this by recording a makro, where I'd enable headers and footers, write the needed data and then stop recording.Afterwards I edited the coding so it would fit a little better. Mostly it was junk-code cleanup.
I have a global header and footer that has a Database connection and a disconnection in the header and footer and need to convert this to ASP.NET - this needs to be done before any HTML is output and after any HTML is output for the footer.I cannot seem to find any easy way to do this, like in Classic ASP - if possible post an example or link to one instead of stating a given technique.
A bit more detail is that I have an SQL Connection string then a single SQL object I want to use throughout all the pages on the website - with the connection string and declarations in the header, and the disconnection in the footer.
I am using RDLC and i want to add dynamic text in header as well as in footer and some images in to the header but i cant understand how to add it in same rdlc. i can add static text in header as well as footer and when i add dynamic text in header it will be displayed in the first page only(after saving report in PDF format) but i cant get same text in next continuing pages
I created a program with visual studio 2012. And I used skybound.gecko component that version is 1.9.0.1.When I print something everythings okay but i don't want the header and footer infos in the page.I want to remove header and footer when printing. how can i do that?
I am developing a windows application using vb.net, I have a simple html page with place holders in it, I load the page into a stream reader, replace the place holders and then I need to print the html content, anybody have any idea how to print the html content as html and not source.P.S. code in vb.bet or c# is ok.
I have a simple html page with place holders in it, when the user fill some info i replace these info in the html page and then print this page, my question is how to print an html page with its embedded format?
For my project, I need to develop an app, which will have MS-SQL db with 4 tables a>FileHeader b>FileFooter c>Extension d>Detail about the file. This is all to do with the Magic Numbers, or File header and footer, found in all files. The first 4-byte and last 4-bytes.
Example: Suppose a word DOC file when read using this app should return and match the values D0 CF 11 E0 So, how can I read the files using vb.net, fileIO, FileStream/StreamClass/FileReader? I just need to open the file and read the first 4 and last 4 bytes of any given file. And then it should connect back to the SQL database and lookup for the matching values from the tables as I had mentioned. And return a match found or not found.
I realise there is a solution for this but I am struggling to get it to convert to VB correctly.I have managed to get a cascading set of dropdowns with data based upon each others results which I was really pleased with. However due to the post back the grid will disappear until the second value is selected and looks awful. Is there anyway within VB to allow the header to stick around if there is no data within the grid view?
I have multiple html documents I have to print on same page(-s). They consist of paragrafs, headings, and some formatted text (bold, underline), line breaks. How could I get the text on one or multiple pages?

I have an application which exports data from an Access 2007 database to an Excel 2007 worksheet automatically draws some graphs. I don't have any problems with generating the excel sheet and the graph, but i would like to also add the Date as a footer and a user name which will depend on a Login Form used to login to the application.
I am creating an application using VB 2005. I am using richtextbox control to get some text and do some text formating like bold, italics and font like stuff.
Now i want to save the richtext (formated) text to a word file with specific page margins, header and footer texts. And also to save the file with a supplied password.
I have tried the simplest method of rtf

I am trying to print the contents of a cell in a table. I am using ITestDataTable to get the contents of the cell. How to print the contents of the cell? When I use Msgbox, I am getting an error :I am using the below code for getting data from the html table:

i have a from with a treeview and a webbrowser control and three buttons. i want the back button to load the previous viewed html file from myresources and the same but opposite for forward?... also how can i and where can i link my external css to my program like my.resources so when i export the program for installing on another machine it still works? and one more thing... how can i intergrate/embed the webbrowser control into my program because as i believe it uses internet explorer and if someone installs my program onto their computer and they have un-installed ie and use firefox it won't work?
Is there a way with the web browser control, not to print the footer. Even more specific, I do not want to print the about:blank when the url is blank.
I'm using the following code to populate a DataGridView with a worksheet. This is working fine, however, I'm unsure how I can get the Text from the page header. (not to be confused with the column header). Later in my code when I am exporting into an existing workbook with a new worksheet, I'm wanting to use the header text as the tab name. The header text being "September 2009" so that when I import/manipulate/export october, the new tab will be "October 2009" etc. [Code]
