When I open a program that I've done previously, it does not recognize any new changes to it or any additional new code. I can even comment out parts or all of the program and it will still execute, showing the result that the original program was coded to do. How can I make the existing program accept changes?

View 6 RepliesI am trying to figure out how to make a program which can accept switches like cmd.exe /k or /c basically i want it to accept commands by myapp.exe /c mycommand.i tried searching and googling but no luck. Also is there a way to run a function like that? And if anyone is wondering why then basically i am copying a script to my domain computer and executing it. This i already have done but problem is its just getting too much copyin multiple scripts and executing i would put everything in on and run em by switches.

How Do I allow people to type into a vb.net console application, and then press enter, and then the console application writes that and uses the console.writeline function to write what the person typed in into the network stream(or whatever its called).

The problem is that I can't enter date for each record unless I got Purchase requisition converted into Purchase Order. Once it is converted to PO, I need to enter the date to update that filed. View 2 RepliesQuick question here about how to get it to accept capital and lowercase letters. I am running code that has certain Customer Types such as "T". It returns different information for that customer. There are only 3 types "T", "R", and "C". The rest return the default information. When I enter "t" into the textbox it returns the default information, not the information for "T". How do I go about getting it to accept "T" or "t"?
View 4 Replieshow do you send a mouse click to a window that seem to not accept them? I have tried sendmessage/postmessage, mouse_event and sendinput. None of them seem to work. Whenever the target window is in the foreground, i cant set the cursor position or do mouse_event click at all. But once it went to the back, everything works... cursor.position moves the mouse, sendinput and mouse_event can click on a different window, just not the one i want.

I don't know how to interact with that window.It is possible to Save, and specify the download location without having to use Sendkeys?Note: There is no file to directly download. Given a texbox, how can I completely ignore non-digit characters? So if I press "A" or "Z", those characters would never appear in the textbox. I'd like to run a bit of code if the user tries to input digits and if he tries to input non-digits too..
