I need to know how to programmatically scroll a form to the top position. I tried Refresh but that didn't do it for me. I'm looking through searches but haven't found what I need yet.

I need to jump to the last viewed position of the text in my richtextbox when I open my project again.
I used GetScrollInfo to obtain the position of the scroll box within the scroll box.
How do make my application to jump to this same location on the scroll bar and also within the text in the richtext control?
I am using VS 2008 with .NET Framework 3.5.

I'm developing a WPF app in which I have a ScrollViewer with grid (16 ColumnDefinitions all auto width) with an image assigned to each column.The effect I want to create is when the mouse enters a area on the left of the ScrollViewer the images will scroll to the left and when the mouse enters an area on the right of the ScrollViewer they scroll to the right. The scrollbars will be hidden. The areas to the left and right are defined by two rectangles with mouseEnter and mouseLeave events. My code behind utilises a timer to programatically scroll the ScrollViewer leftor right.[code]

The problem is that this works perfectly if I use the left and right arrows and it also works perfectly if I use the scroll bar's slider SLOWLY. If I scroll using the slider and move it quickly then the scroll gets out of sync.The small change and large change are both set to 1 and maximum is set to 8
I have a picturebox inside a panel, the picturebox is long, and the panel is set to allow scrollbars, which it adds. I can scroll the picture at design and runtime, but how do you scroll it programmatically?
Starting with the picture box with the top set to 0, and then doing this... (using any non-zero value as the lY value)

I am trying to prevent a form from being moved or resized by the user. I am able to do that IF the user double clicks the form (I basically resize the form to full screen, andreposition it to 0,0). This is loads of flickering, but it works. However this seems to only work if the user double clicks the form. After loading, if you grab to top bar, you can move it.

The middle mouse wheel doesn't scroll the scroll bar; I have to actually click and hold the scroll bar and drag it down to scroll. Is there a property to allow this?

I have an mdi form and few child forms. I have set the autoscroll property to false, size to (640,480) for the mdi form, but still the scrollbars are shown. I am setting the width of the child forms on mdi resize event to the width of mdi parent. My requirement is that the mdi parent should not show scrollbars at all for the entire life of the application. What are the properties that I need to set additionally?

I have set the panel to autoscroll and added scroll bars but they do not scroll far enough... They only scroll about 2cm.
Following default the datagridview will scroll following vertical. How can i do that. I tried :

I have a Windows form application with a MenuStrip at the top (File, etc...) and a TabControl directly beneath it with 8 TabPages arranged horizontally. The tabpages vary in height. The form's autoscroll property is set to True to allow the user to scroll down for those tabpages that contain more content. This all works fine.
What happens at runtime, though, is that when the user clicks on some of the tabpages that are greater in height, the scroll bar automatically scrolls down slightly, which obscures the menustrip at the top of the form. This behavior is undesirable. on how to modify it? I have compared the properties of the form itself, the tabpages, and included controls (table layout panels, etc.) but cannot figure out what distinguishes the tabpages that "jump" down when clicked upon from those that do not. I suspect that there may be a property that eludes me.
Second, I have added a ContextMenuStrip to the form to enable actions upon right-clicking within each tabpage. Even though I have assigned it to the Windows form and each tabpage, it does not appear at runtime. One can right-click all over the place within the application, but it never appears.
My question is regarding a scrollbar in visual basic adding it the "picture way" in the ide and i want to be able to have it so that i can change the number of scrolls it does like pages, but with the scroll bar changes data depending on it's position. I have the following code to try and get the scroll bar to have 6 positions starting at 1With frmIndashone

how to add a new form to my application programmatically & then add a picture box, text box, and a button to that new form?
I can add a new button, a new form, or a new picturebox on my current form but I can't seem to figure out how to add a new form to my application and then put the picturebox and textbox and the button on that new form.
