Currently i have a ReturnSystemDate in a module, so that whenever i need the current date and time i call this method, however my data is saving as in 1 format and displaying in another. I have my variables set up as dateTime to store the current date and time, when calling System.dateTime.now.toString() i get 11/08/2010 Time, however when casting to Date as in CDATE() i get 08/11/2010 time. How can i stop this?

The only problem is that when I open my date picker popup, the date picker calendar popup is in Month - Mode. Is it possible to be same on Year Mode.
I need to allow the user to select the month regardless of the day of the month.
And Also, I don't want to display the inner date of calendar control which is placed just below on calender control.
Is there any way to override DateTimePicker or what would be the best way to reproduce the DateTimePicker behavior if this is not possible ?

For instance, today's date format should be 110308 however, in the database the format is 1110308. How can I strip off that leading 1? For instance, if the integer was 255, the hex string would be "ff", if the integer was 15, the hex string would be "0f". The issue I'm having is trying to keep the leading 0. I've been able to overcome this by using an if statement to determine if the length is less than 2, in which I would concatenate a 0, but this is pretty inefficient I think. Here's my

View 3 RepliesI want my game to tick over month by month at a set interval. I would use the timer control to get the interval. But how can I pause it? Say if one "month" is 5 minutes in my game and user hits pause. I would disable the timer but then when they unpause the game the timer would start from 0 again. This would make a "month" 9 minutes if a user paused the game in the 4th minute.

I'm supposed to write a program that validates an inputted ten digit ISBN number using the check-digit at the end to ensure that the sum is a multiple of eleven. Before calculating this and detecting if the entered number is indeed a valid ISBN, we're required to check the first nine digits and see if they are indeed integers. After this the tenth digit is checked to see if it is "X" (for ten) or 0-9.
With the code I've written it keeps returning false for whether or not the ISBN is valid, even with valid numbers. I feel like its something to do with the hyphens; have I misused the replace function?I'm a little lost on how to make my code work, but I'm fairly certain my logic is okay so far.
