Once these are specified, a Table Layout Panel creates these number of cells with each cell having a button and a Text Box inside it. On the double click of a button, the user can change the background image of the button, specify the sound for it and similarly fill in the text box too. when a user logs into their account on the laptop , Remote Desktop Connection automatically logs them into their account on the main computer. The problem is when it comes to logout, i need to create a vb program that will run in the background , so when the user disconnects from RDC ( which also closes RDC) it automatically logsoff the laptop. hope this makes sense.

View 1 RepliesI'm new in development in vb.net IDE, and I need your advises on how to create multi form in one screen like a project properties screen in VB2008 IDE, thus when you you go to Menu Project -> Project Properties... you can see that screen is divided into two panes the left one for options to choose and the right one for configuration and preferences.
I need to know how to achive this and how to create similar to that thus if you choose any button from left the form content changes at right (ok is this single form and all controls were set to invisible /visible or is it muliform programming.

I have a project to do for one of my classes that i need help on. Its and extra credit so im left on my own. Project Create a program to allow a student to create there own schedule. what i am trying to do is create a checkedlistbox for the student to check classes they are taking, and need something else to pop up or to show in another box or listbox the classes they can take for the next quarter. I know it has to do with if then statements but i dont know how to write basically:"if (class is checked in checkedlistbox) then ( these are the classes you can take)".

View 4 RepliesI am very very new to VB.NET and would like to ask a simple question. I want to create a vb.net program and allow visitors to a website to download this program. However, I prefer not to have visitors download a zip folder. I would like to have a program that just gives a prompt to save in a selected folder, once the saved file is selected it prompts the person to download, and then when finished prompts the person to run the program. The reason is twofold:
1. I don't like the extra step involved with unzipping the file. and 2. I don't like the visitors having to look for the "main" file program within the new downloaded folder. So is there any way to have just one file for others to download without having it in a zip folder?
