I have created a form for a user to add a new booking to a database, the form uses text boxes, labels and datetimepickers to handle the data. [Code] My problem is that when I print the document I get the following "311salesmeeting". This is the data from my text boxes, but I want the form to print as it is on my screen. I have done some reading up and the only other way I can see to print a form is to load the form into a bitmap file and print that. Is this correct, or can I alter my code some how.
I wanted to make a screen recorder (not screen capture) program, but I am not entirely sure how to get it started. I have seen many videos and things on how to make one, but all of these just take multiple pictures and then don't compile them into a movie file, and I don't want to take many pictures (unless that is the only way possible.) I am using Visual Basic 2010 Express and I have looked at the Windows Media Encoder, but I can't seem to figure out how to use/implement it (yes, I have downloaded and installed it.) Maybe I can use some kind of ActiveX control?
I need class for triangle button (Up and Down). I need to be able to adjust the base like the picture on the right. I need it to show in the toolbox after I build it. To needy :D

I have a user who wants to print the form that is on the screen(the entire form not just the data) on the click of a button, is there a quick and easy way to capture it and print it. Kind of like a screen shot? I suggested that they could just do alt/printscreen and capture the form that way and print it but they want it all to be done from a print button for them.
Is it possible to create a code that when a button is clicked it Print Screens part of the form (For example, location 3,4 to location 30,40) and then saves the image?
I am taking an Intro to VB class in college and for on of our assignments we need to make several shapes with *'s. The user is prompted by an input box where they decide how large to make the shapes. The only one that I am struggling with is the inverted triangle. Here is what it should look like if the user would select to have 5 rows.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Here is the code that I have written for the REGULAR triangle.
Private Sub btnTriangle_Click(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles btnTriangle.Click Dim numstars As Integer
I where wondering about it is pausible to make a program that makes a popup on your screen at a time you chose in the program? and then you could choose a text and a icon as a message, so the program reminded you about something?
I am making the tough transition from VBA to VB and would be pleased to hear from a VB expert. I am trying to make a program to grab numbers from the screen so that I can log them to a text file. The numbers are part of a flash animation which is regularly updating the number I want to capture and as there is no API i am grabbing the region where the number is displayed into a bitmap and then want to recognise the number with OCR. The code below grabs the screen region ok.
I have a problem.How i can to make my program full screen for all resolutions ? i have 1280 x 1024 and if i change the resolutions, my program does not look good.

if there was a way to print screen certain dimensions of the screen. Like if I were to assign a short cut(F2) in the menustrip and it was to print screen those dimensions.
As seen below in the screenshot I used the following code to draw a line from CA to CA 1.1
g = pbxMap.CreateGraphics g.DrawLine(pen1, D.v(path(t)).x, D.v(path(t)).y, D.v(path(K)).x, D.v(path(K)).y)
Is there anyway to make the red picturebox at CA to move along the line drawn to CA 1.1? Something like the google driving directions where a car will moving along the path from a starting point to a ending point..
I'm trying to make a screen recorder using Visual Basic 2008 Express, and everything seems to be smoothlike... until I actually try to record with it. The actual error I am receiving is as follows.A first chance exception of type 'System.Runtime.InteropServices.ExternalException' occurred in System.Drawing.dll The particular line of code that it seems to be having problems with is the following.
BMP.Save(FileDIR0 + Frame + IMG)And now I will post the rest of the code in case it helps.
Public Class Form1 Private Sub RECScreen_Tick(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles RECScreen.Tick
i request assistance for my web browser. I did everything how i normally do it, but i would like to know how to make it autofit to the screen. Like i maximize it on my screen, but the browser part is still small like the regular size. Is there any way to make it maximize with Form1?
