i want to make a photo uploader from a custom web browser to imageshack.us. i was wondering what the code might be as i can't figure out what it will be. i would like to also sync the photo uploads with a progress bar to see how far the upload is complete. so far i know how to make a basic web browser.

The control will allow me to select a file locally and it displays the local file path in its text box, BUT when I then click a button on my page which I am going to be using to submit all details then upload the page everything goes wrong and I get a Null Ref Exception from the AsynchFileUploader.

I would like for my program to navigate via textbox1.text with multiple lines and multiple url links inside of it. I know how to make the webbrowser1.navigate via textbox1.text with multiple lines, however I want my webbrowser to navigate to each url every 1-1.5 seconds once button1 is clicked. Yes, my webbrowser1 will navigate to the specified urls via the textbox1.text (multilines) with a button click, but I need the webbrowser1 to navigate in a order sequence from top to bottom of Textbox1.text (multiplelines) every 1 second. I've just finished making a web browser suited for my personal use, but when I click on a new link or something it opens a new window in Internet Explorer - which gets extremely anoying.. Is there a way to make all links open up in a custom browser?
View 19 RepliesAbout 3 years ago i came across a vb project for a photo album, it was on online tutorial and I followed it and after some custom tweaking I found it was quite usefull. Unfortuatly the original sourcecode has long since vanished.The project was fairly easy to follow and I remember the author had a photo image of his sailing boat and a yellow labrador (just trying to jog some memories here) :).
Anyway; I have searched high and low for it but can not find it. I'm pretty sure it was on a msdn or some other microsoft forum and was to do with VB 2005 or VB 2008 edition of Visual studio.
I was just wondering how I could send commands to a tabbed browser. Such as navigation. I know of webbrowser1.navigate, but that will not work with the tabbed browser. I would also like to use an commands to automatically login. But I am not sure how I could do that in a tabbed browser either. Webbrowser1.document.getelementbyid does not work for this.

I tried going through several threads, but couldn't find the solution I was looking for. Most of the threads involved matters (and code) too complex for my requirements, or had bugs when I reproduced the code in my editor window which I was unable to resolve due to my lack of knowledge in I/O related programming.
So far the simplest solution I could find was this one:[URl]...but after using his solution in my editor, it says 'type WIA is not defined', despite adding a reference to Microsoft Windows Image Acquisition 1.01 Type Library.

The issue is that I have a need to upload a set of photos to the database instead of a single photo.
This would be all fine and dandy if I knew how many photos would be added at once but in this case it could be 1 or 100.
I have my database (setup in details) and dragged onto my form. Right now I only have a picture box for my picture to place into the database.
So what's the best way to upload numerous photos to a database without having to create 10000 cells in my database?
