The problem is that I need to be able to access the the value of the uninstallString so that I can pass it to the appropriate process. Since that info is in a separate block, I can't directly access it.

Within my program, I'd like to allow the user to hold the CTRL key down while double-clicking with the mouse. Specifically, within the treeview control, I'd like to allow the user to be able to CTRL-DoubleClick but the DoubleClick event has the EventArgs parameter that doesn't provide any keyboard data.I'm guessing that this is possible, but I'm just drawing a blank on how to implement it.

I want the user to select a PDF file with a click and be able to preview the document and when the user needs a larger view of a PDF file the user simply double click on the list box. When clicking on any of the ListBox items the selected PDF file is displayed in the "preview" pane. When selecting the mnuDocumentsView option from the context menu strip the new, larger, form reflecting the selected PDF file is displayed perfectly. But, when double clicking on an item in the ListBox the Click event is executed instead of the DoubleClick event. For some or another reason I cannot use both the Click and DoubleClick events on a ListBox. I've tried seperating the DoubleClick event from the mnuDocumentsView click event, MouseClick, MouseDoubleClick, but no luck.
I need to know how to populate a listview with all of the images from my.settings, and I need it to show the image in the listview. How would I do this? I've never used listview because I never cared to learn until now.

I have a media browser program I am building. I am trying to use drag/drop so a user can drag media tracks from one listview to another listview and then use the second list view as a playlist in windows media player com object. Reading at MSDN I have found out that there is no built in support for item re-ordering with the listview control. I have listview1 working correctly but when I try to reorder items in listview2, the dragged item ends up at the end of the list. So basically I need to get the item insertion index corrected. I have tried more than 10 times to get this code right.

View 10 RepliesI have DataGridView control which i populate with some rows from the database the database table which i work with changes a lot so every 30 seconds I re-query the database to check if there is new record or existing record changed or record deleted, I can't clear and re-populate the grid view because people might work with it and they're might doing some changes in some rows.

If you look at the "For" line, you can see that pulling all files with an extension of .txt. There are some files that I need to pul with different extensions. I tried just doing "*.", and it would grab the files with not extension, but not the txt extension.
So, I wanted to know if there was some way to just pull all files or specify more than one extension.

In code behind i selected the datagrid and double click event. when i double click on teh grid in debug mode, it never fires off the event(i put a breakpoint in).
