Oct 1, 2010
I want RANDOMLY click one of two radio buttons on a web page. Right now I only know how to click the last one... Also, the value of the radio controls changes every time. HTML Code of radio controls

<input type="radio" name="vote" value="ECB">No
I'm curious if there is a "check all" kind of thing for a tablelayoutpanel? To explain, say I have TableLayoutPanel1 with 6 radio buttons and I'm doing an error check to make sure that at least one radio button has been selected during a click event. Do I have to do If / and with all 6 radio buttons? Or is there something like "If TableLayoutPanel1.checked(obviously not this) = false then".
Basically I have textbox1 and I have button1. I want it so when I press button1 it chooses a random string from these 4 strings. "dubstep","metal","hardcore","rap" textbox1.text = "***doido:L"
I need to create a program that when I click a button it shows a sentence (took it from a list) random. But after it have to delete the sentence from the list 'cause we dont want to read it again I don't know so much about VB so I'd like some help!
I am trying to make a utility for my personal use. I want it to log into a website and fill out a form for me. So far, I can get it to fill in the input boxes and select the right options from the comboboxes.
I am having a problem with the radio buttons on the form.
Here is how I use webbrowser to select MICHIGAN from the list of states. This works fine, and I present it as an example of what I am trying to do:
I am trying to find something that will do the same thing, but with a radio button. So far, nothing I do will work. There are two radio buttons. One basically says: "Yes, I would like this item - add it to my shopping cart." The other says: "I decline this item." I want to select "I decline this item."
User will use a button1.click to open a filedialog to locate the file they needed. after which, the name of the file will appear on a textbox. Button2 is an OK button to write the filename into a txt file. Button2.click will work with the 3 radio buttons - meaning when Radio Button 1 is true and Button2.click is clicked, the filename will be saved asFile1.txt.if Radio Button 2 is true and Button2.click is clicked, the filename will be saved as File2.txt. Likewise to Radio Button 3
I seem to be having trouble getting group boxes to appear when I click a radio button.
For example:
If radiobutton1.Checked Then Groupbox1.Visible = True Groupbox2.Visible = False Groupbox3.Visible = False Groupbox4.Visible = False End If
This indeed brings up the first radio button however I have other groupboxes underneath which with the same code will not appear when the radio button is checked.
Eg:
If radiobutton2.Checked Then Groupbox2.Visible = True Groupbox1.Visible = False Groupbox3.Visible = False Groupbox4.Visible = False End If
The second groupbox does not appear and is directly behind the first groupbox.
I have a windows form application built with Visual Studio 2008. When a use clicks a command button which does some action, I use SelectNextControl to automatically move to the next control in the tab order once the action is completed.
This seems to work very well, however, I have recently discovered that if the next control in the tab order is a radio button, the call to SelectNextControl does not simply make the radio button the active control... it also causes the click event to fire. When I use the tab key to move past the command button (rather than clicking on it which will result in a call to SelectNextControl), the radio button gets focus as expected and the click event is not raised (as expected). I don't know if this is a bug in selectnextcontrol or the radio button control.
Has anyone else seen/solved this problem? Another forum post discussed a problem where the radio button was automatically checked when a form was first displayed and the radio button was the first control on the form. Seems to be a very similar problem. That post was from 2008.
I have a gridview in wpf and have a two radio buttons and a button in template column. How do i access the status of radio buttons in the click event of the button?
I'm trying to make a button on my Web Browser Project to click a link but those links have the same Innertext but have different hypertext reference (href) and I want my button to randomly click one of them but my code below only clicks the last link on the page.
So here is my For Each unit As HtmlElement In WebBrowser1.Document.GetElementsByTagName("a") If unit.InnerText = "Next" Then unit.InvokeMember("click") End If Next
is there anyway i can randomly call up even numbers like i have a label (label1) and button (button1) i want to click on the button and it shows EVEN NUMBERS on the label at random?
i have problem that i know once someone answers, i will kick myself, but here goes. i need to move the text next to the radio button to the left of the radio button, that part is easy just make sure the the "right to left" is maked yes, got it. but, the problem is i am making a seating chart and the seats are labeled 10-a, 10-b etc.... when the right to left is set to yes my text reverses and becomes a-10 and i can't seem to figure out what is set in the properties the is causing the alpha to be placed before the numeric.
I am a novice VB programmer. For the past weeks I have been frustrated to the point of madness by struggling to get webbrowser1 to click on the SUBMIT button at a webpage I have navigated to.
(1) I tell webbrowser1 to navigate to ...
(2) I want webbrowser1 to enter my user id and password. I already know how to do this, and this part of the program works fine.[cod]e...
i want to click a button in my webbrowser just by the value of it here is what it looks like
<input value="go" class="f" onclick="
so if a button in my webbrowser value="Go" then i want it to click it how can i do this ?
I am working at a small VB.NET project which autofill the fields on Yahoo register page. I was wondering if there is a way to click on "Check" button and see if the entered ID is ok or not, something like if the entered ID is ok then proceed further with filling the field, if not, try another ID and press "Check" button again.
I have two groups of RadioButtons, each group inside its own GroupBox. When a RadioButton from one group is selected, the handler passes the selected button - this is not a problem.
But I need to grab the value of the selected RadioButton from the other group as well - is there a simple way to do that without iterating through them all?
Could someone enlighten me on how radio buttons work?Is there a way to retrieve a single value from a group of radio buttons that indicates which radio button in the group is checked?
In the documentation, it said to set the "Group" property; however, my radio buttons don't have a group property, at least that I can find.
I realize that I could iterate through the radio buttons and find the one that is checked, but that seems like it defeats the purpose of radio buttons.
how to click a button in the WebBrowser Control... I've tried stuff like:
WebBrowser1.Document.Forms(0).Item("btnG").Click but this doesn't seem to work.
So how would you go about clicking a button in the webbrowser control in Visual Basic 2010? how would you type "Daniweb" into the google search bar and click the "Google Search" button?
I've managed to fill in the username and password with the necessary details but I can't seem to click the submit button.
This method works on all other sites I've tried, but not this one. The button name is submit (Tryed all from source and looped through the input elements which it can't be found on there).
Might it be on another form or is it somthing to do with JS?
I am trying to log in to ... the MSN specifically, and i am able to fill in the username and password box but i can't seem to get vb to click the login button.
...
