I have to create a program where the user enters 2 numbers and the program outputs all the even and odd numbers between those 2 numbers.I have that part of the code complete. But now I have to enter code where if the user enters a letter instead a number in either input box, that a message pops up and tells them to enter a number, instead of a letter... I keep going round and round on this and can't seem to get it quiet right. Here's my

I want RANDOMLY click one of two radio buttons on a web page. Right now I only know how to click the last one... Also, the value of the radio controls changes every time. HTML Code of radio controls
HTML <input type="radio" name="vote" value="ECA">Yes <input type="radio" name="vote" value="ECB">No
Basically I have textbox1 and I have button1. I want it so when I press button1 it chooses a random string from these 4 strings. "dubstep","metal","hardcore","rap" textbox1.text = "***doido:L"
I have a button on my form where I'm showing a ContextMenu when the user left clicks on it, I'm actually using MouseUp right now to show it.What I would like to have happen is the user click on the button, the button stays pressed while the ContextMenu shows, it returns to normal when the ContextMenu closes (Either a menu item was selected, the user hits the escape key or they click/tab to somewhere else). Also I'd like to position the ContextMenu in the lower left corner if the menu opens down or the top left corner if it opens up. So the left edge of the ContextMenu is flush with the left edge of the button.Moreso the button staying pressed until the ContextMenu is closed.
Edit: I'm also ok with this being it's own control inheriting the FW's Button that used the assigned ContextMenu as well.

I am really confused! My program doesn't work if I don't have Visual Studio here in my PC. To test it I have uninstalled Visual Studio. But my program doesn't work though Flash Player is present there (I have used Flash animation in the first form).
To be more sure about it I have installed Flash. But it's not working! That means the Flash animation file (.swf) is not making a problem! It needs support from Visual Studio to start. Doesn't it mean that some files are not attached with a setup file as a result it needs Visual Studio to run? Let me tell you how I create a setup file of my program.

I wanted to create a simple Visual Basic 2008 program that can log me into my email with a click of a button...what would a the code for the button look like?
Im using VS 2010 and had a question about interacting with other software. For example if i wanted to hit the add button the windows calculator assuming its open what would be the best way to go about doing that?
here is the deal, imagine that i've a fullscreen form, and when clicking on a button, it will create a new control, a control that could be selected and moved. I know that they are dynamic controls, but anyone know how to make them with the specific things i've said? A kind of dynamic controls allowing drag & drop to another position.
I'm trying to make a button on my Web Browser Project to click a link but those links have the same Innertext but have different hypertext reference (href) and I want my button to randomly click one of them but my code below only clicks the last link on the page.
So here is my For Each unit As HtmlElement In WebBrowser1.Document.GetElementsByTagName("a") If unit.InnerText = "Next" Then unit.InvokeMember("click") End If Next
I'm trying to create a program that produces random sentences as output. With five arrays of strings, one each for nouns, adjectives, verbs, prepositions, and articles. Each array should hold several words for that part of speech. Like, the Articles array could hold the strings "the" and "a"; the Nouns array could hold "Martian", "baby", "skunk","computer" and "mosquito"; the Prepositions array could hold "around", "through", "under", "over", and "by"; and so on.
It's supposed to generate sentences by randomly choosing eight words (randomly generating eight array indices) from these arrays, always constructing sentences by using the parts of speech in the following order: article, adjective, noun, verb, preposition, article, adjective, noun. Also, the code should be properly modularized so that the code to generate each part of speech is not repeated.
i am trying to create a program that connects to a database and shows table fields in listview in windows form i manage to do that but i want now to have a button to take the total of a column in a list box ,lets say from the column "money"?
How can I make a program so you click a button and select a File using a OpenFileDialog and click send on your computer and it will send the file to a different computer and then a SaveFileDialog will show asking where to save the file on the other computer. Oh ya I cant use WinSock or whatever becuase im using Windows Vista 64 Bit. I need it because I for some reason cant use printer sharing. It might be because im on A 64bit Vista Machine and I want to print a file off of a 32bit XP Home Machine.
txtCapital.Text = "Berlin" Or "Lisbon" Or "London" Or "Madrid"
but Visual Basic.Net says this is an invalid cast exception. Is there another way to create a random selection of for example a capital city from a list and then put into a text box?
I am having trouble with a separate program that keeps saying Adobe flash is not installed. And I have tried everything but it still wont go away (that was off topic a bit). I want to create a program that will auto click the words "Click Here" if the error message shows. Because if I click there then it will work normally until it pops up again.
II am trying to create a toggle button that switches a list to a range and then back to a list if needed. I am able to get it to do both but when I add an item to the list, convert to a range and then convert back to a list it leaves off the last items I entered.I tried to work in a code to select all cells but I must not be putting it in the right place. This is what I have so far:
1. Something similarly I want with another button - when I click button2, I want to remove specific object - let say panel2, not hide it.
2. The second thing is that I want to put text from my textbox into excel, but in specific row. I would like to do that with word file as well. I would like to put text form my textbox in specific table, or row, or line. I only know to put text into a file.
Beginning VB 2010, had a project that requires us to create a list box of 25 randomly generated 0s or 1s. Problem is when I put the loop in, it only repeats the same random number, not different one each loop. What am I doing wrong? This is the code I have so far...Code in Question:
'Declare new random object Dim RandomGenerator As New Random intRandomNumber = RandomGenerator.Next(0, 2)[code]......
Okay, so I'm doing a card game and I'm trying to set that when picturebox (PictureBox1) is clicked, a random card from 13 cards will come visible. Problem is, that when i start the program and click the picturebox, the same card will always come visible. As you can see i've put a button (Button1) which will hide every card. If I press Button2, then Button1 and then the PictureBox1 it will show differend card, but the cards which come visible are always the same.
e.g i press PictureBox1 (which will make card visible), then Button1 (which will make PictureBox1 non-enabled) and then Button2 (which will hide every card and make PictureBox1 pressable). Lets say i pressed the PictureBox1 four times and i got cards: 9, 6, 7, 3, then I close the program, start it again and press PictureBox1 again 4 times and it will show the same cards (9, 6, 7, 3). How can this be done that it will not show the same cards always?
Here's my code... Public Class Form1
Private Sub Button3_Click(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles Button3.Click End
My project is basically a addition test for 5 to 9 year old children. On my form I have a button which when clicked, it inputs a number from 1 to 10,( which is chosen by the user via an combo box drop down), into ten text boxes. I have built and array and used a, for loop for this and it works fine. [code] My problem is I need to create another array connected to the same button to genarate 10 random numbers. Which will allow the user to add the two numbers together. My problem is that visual basic wont let me add a second array to the same button?
Therefore I have an expression like [a-z]{10}.I want to generate maybe 200.000 data - maybe more (it should be generic), every data should be unique.
How can i implement that?at the moment i have a algorithm, that generates a random string, then search in an array that stores the values, if the string is already in there it repeats that process. Otherwise it stores the string in the array.
This is a quick mock up of what my application looks like.Trying to incorporate a progress bar. I want to be able to click "start" then the start button disappears then a progress bar shows up in its place.
