i am trying to delete specific rows in a datagridview that start with a specific falue. What i have so far is

Now this code works if one row meets the criteria but when multiple rows have the same value i get the following error.

If i dont delete the successful rows then i will have multiple inserts of the same dataRow and we dont want that! AND if i dont move the data up then it will have blank rows uptop and will end the try and not insert the corrected data. I am displaying a Master-Detail tables in a DataGridView. The Master has only one table and the Detail also has only table. Both tables have primary keys. I have the code listed above as a translation from a Java snippet. The problem i have is that in Java, my table was stored as a dataset and as such, the methods were easily identifiable by "getRow" and getCell" using specific numbers and column names. However in VB the information is stored in an MS Access database (which i already have an open connection to, called: "_SalesPerformance_AnalyticsToolDatabaseDataSet12") and as such i do not know the correct way in which to iterate through each row in the database, checking a specific column against an already specified variable and then returning an integer based upon the value of a seperate column in the same row.

The program will then read each cell in that row, pass them through a function and return values be placed into the next line (1). This will continue until one of the parameters reaches some set point. The problem that I am having is that when I try to insert a new line, it appears above the initial one and not below it like I would like it to.
