VS 2010 Improve A Button So The User Can Make A Backup Of The *.mdb File?

I have my desktop app, bound to an access database. I want now to improve a button so the user can make a backup of the *.mdb file.So i used this

It works fine when i try the app from within Visual Studio. But when i install it it won�t find the database because it was installed elsewhere.Is there a way to control where the DB is installed and follow that route? Does this depend on the OS the app is installed? Or did I face the problem wrong and i should do something completely different with my button?

above i have a specific username in the little backup script i have created. in this section of the code, if the user selects this particular chkbox then hits "start" it backs up the above loacation to a "server" H.
how do i code it to automatically pull the username and place it where "godboubs" (aka the username) is?

I have a few questions. first, how do i make it so that when you open your program you can not open ctrl+alt+del = task manager? second how do i make it so that a button opens a .bat file? third Is it possible to a button open multiple Internet Explorer Windows? When i try to do this it only opens a bunch of tabs? and lastly how do I make it so that when it installs on a computer it installs straight to the start-up folder without the user knowing it, or how do you make it so it opens automatically on start-up?

I'm currently trying to improve the speed of my program. Basically the user inputs min and max values for a, b, c, and d and a constant n, and then it tries to find the curve/line in the form a (x/b + c) ^ n + d. However for large ranges (1-100 for a,b,c, and d; total of 100 million values to try), it would take around 100 minutes at the current rate (approx 800k values/minute). I'm wondering whether I can further improve the speed. [Code]

I read a text file every second..[code]The file is generated from another program and it's costantly updated more times per second.The sense of the code (StartIndex) is to read only the rows that I have not read from the last time.The code works without problems until the file is about 2.5 Mb in dimensions... for higher dimensions I have problems and all becomes very slow.Using and fs.Dispose() are like Microsoft suggest (and in fact if i run the code analisys I have no problems), but surely the problem is not here.The question is: is my code right or there is way to improve the reading?? Is there way to read only the tail without to open the whole file?

I have a simple form that works fine with a button click and the code generated by VB for Button1_Click event.But I want to make the user have to double click the button, So I just modified to: [code]This compiles but nothing happens when you double click.What am I not doing to get this to work?The problem is that if you click the button and the form is the focus, then if you hit the enter key it fires the event (when you didnt want to)

I need to backup the sql server 2005 express database. It works fine if I make backup to specific folder"C:Program FilesMicrosoft SQL ServerMSSQL.1MSSQLBackup". But if I change the path to any other path . I got an error "Backup failed for Server 'server name'. "

(VS.Net 2005/VB.Net)Why is it that VS.Net does not create LOCAL backup files of edits? Is there a way to make it do that?I accidentally overwrote a day's worth of changes by attempting to do a manual mergeoutside of VS.Net.Is there a way to make VS.Net create backup files of your changes each time you save?Delphi does it using an extension of .~pa for your source files and .~fm for your form files.This way, if your system crashes, which VS.Net is certainly going to do, you wouldn't lose the changes you made since your last save point.I know, I know, I shouldn't have been doing the merge outside of VS.Net but I had my reasons and now I[m paying the price.I just wished VS.Net was a little better IDE than it is because, frankly it sux. Is it possible to make a little backup program that can backup from one folder to another, is this much work? With a calender also that can be picked up so you can chose when the backup starts.
Im thinking about f.example 10 lines where you can chose where to backup from (different folderes) And one line where the backup shall be saved. All this with browse folder off course. And with a button backup now and a button backup from the date. A very little program with an easy use.

flat will have no border, or if it's still if the mouse hover on it, the border will get emphasized.That's all.I recognize that in TextButton, we have FlatAppearance, so we can tweak all Button to behave like this. But the same is not happened for TextField.

These code shows the usercontrol transparent. But when the control moves I see that these control needs time to be transparent or drawing an image. Why so many time(maybe 2 seconds)? And why I can't use directions keys on keydown event? (The arrow keys are ignored).
