Simulating Hotmail Login?
Feb 15, 2010i had program as part of my final year project,program used smtp to send email to email to mms gateway. worked perfectly at home moved it onto set up in college and it appears they do not allow these smtp requests from campus.
basically i need to simulate a login to hotmail and to send a message without using an smtp request. Is this possible to do ?? what im looking for is minimal user input, i want to be able to hard code the username and password for the login, and also hardcode the emails recipients subject and body.

Window Live Login - Verify Email And Password?
Jan 22, 2012I have a form1 that logs in the user to my hotmail/live email sender. In form1 I have 2 textboxes. First ask for email address for live/hotmail and the other ask for the password. Then it takes you to form2 (email sender). My problem is if the user enters a wrong password or email the program still takes them to form2... hence the program wont work if they try to send an email.. Is there a way I can verify if at form1 that the email and password is correct before it moves on the form2?

May 16, 2011I have code in a program of mine that fills out a form, and presses the button to proceedbut when I do, a confirmation window pops up asking if I want to continue. How would I make the program automatically press "OK?" is there a way around even having the message? I was told that you can edit a webpage so it won't do that. Jun 16, 2010I want to make a database of all the xbox live arcade arcade games on the xbox live marketplace, I need to parse an xml file and add the needed data from the xml node into a datagridview.Here is the xml file i need to use to grab links and other data about the game:

Being the noob I am it took me about 6 hours to figure out how xml works and to write some code for what i need to do.
Here is what i came up with:

That code works fine.Now when i add another column to the datagridview called "update size" i want to know how to add the grabbed data from another sub i made to the new column.What would the code be for adding the strings for the new sub into the seconds column? the first was, DataGridView1.Rows.Add(str)" . So what would the second be ?Also another question i have is how do i put an image in an imagecolumn by a web link, not a local picture.

Basically, it works improperly when try to log in on one web-site (Forex Trading Social Network | Online Forex Trading Forum and Social Networking Site). I am working with Visual Studio 2010 Professional. I created a simple WebBrowser trying to access the indicated web-site. The problem begins. -Put #'s 1-9 before/after word
-Put hyphen before/after number
-Put underscore before/after word

Dec 30, 2009I'm making a program that signs into Hotmail and auto reads all the messages. I just can't figure out how to invoke, click to open the first message. I am using the Webbrowser Control which I know is so flexible if you know what your doing. I do see that the whole inbox is in a table so i don't know if I need to approach that in that manner or not. I spent 5 hours last night trying to figure this out.

Sending Email Programmatically Using Hotmail's Servers?
Oct 9, 2010I am trying to write a program that will automatically send me an email when certain events happen. When such an event is called, I would have the sub that handles the event write the email and send it to me.To test this, I am using two Hotmail accounts that I have and trying to send an email from one to the other. However, I constantly recieve an error and I do not know how to fix it. I have the code written to explain to me the error. It does not return which object or application or whatever caused the error and the error message itself was "Failure sending message."It is a console application, seeing as when it will be implemented into the actual program, it will send emails without user interaction. The application is designed to allow me to enter in the subject and message body (the To and From "fields" are already filed.) and then I tell the application to send the email and it will return a result when the message is sent.

Jul 16, 2011it's just for a program registration. i would store all of the registration codes in the access database, then export it to XML, then upload it to my web host. I would then somehow connect it to my Visual Basics login form (Which I have already made). What I want to do, is have those buttons continue with the coded operation if the user clicks "OK" on the confirmation box.The box should be like the MsgBox, but with two selections: "OK" and "CANCEL".

Feb 25, 2009Loading a form is the easiest thing to do. Unfortunately with the 2008 version, I keep running into new problems. Now, my forms will not load when I run and click the main form button, yet they used to work, so, I am therefore, seriously baffled. I'm hoping I just forgot to put in some code.
